My wife and I used Lady Egypt last November and had an amazing time touring all over Egypt for the first 8 days of our 2+ week trip. I can't imaging using any other tour provider. Lady Egypt is outstanding. I particularly would like to thank Nahla, and our fantastic tour guides Mohamed (when were in Cairo), and Ahmed (when we were south in Luxor etc).
My wife and I worked with Lady Egypt in 2009 to set up a custom tour for just the two of us. They were incredibly patient and completely flexible as we wanted to fit as much sightseeing as we could in as short of a time period as we had. The accommodations they gave us were first class, the tour guides were simply amazing, and the travel arrangements (car/plane/camel) were outstanding. If I were to ever go back again they would be the first company that I would contact.
The cost was reasonable, the representatives and guides were great and the accommodations were top notch. When the new Grand Egyptian Museum opens, we will return to Egypt and will certainly go with Lady Egypt.
Egypt, trip of a lifetime I can not thank Lady Egypt enough. My holiday to Egypt was what dreams are made of from start to finish. We started in the Ancient times in Cairo and finished in the now at the Hurghurda resort. I had dreamt of this trip since the age of 14 when I first studied Ancient History, that dream became a reality for my 50th birthday. I actually cried when I seen the pyramids. I had such a magical time, I rode a camel in the desert when quad bike riding, sailed the Nile had the privlidge of visiting the Beduin camp, took a ride in a hot air baloon over the valley of the kings and so much more, it was amazing. I have to give a special thank you to our organiser Nahla and Anais our tour guides Fayhed and Mhmoud Farah. I have been telling everyone in Australia if they want to travel to Egypt then go through Lady Egypt, they take care of everything. Thank you all SO much I will never forget this trip of a lifetime.
We have nothing but positive things to say about Lady Egypt. We had the most amazing time and everyone went above and beyond to take care of us...we felt like Royalty! Everyone from the tour representatives, guides and drivers were phenomenal. one of our favorites parts was getting to know everyone...we felt like great friends at the end of our trip. Thank you for making our first trip to Egypt such an amazing adventure and we can’t wait to come back and visit! Love Rob and Audra Geyer Grand Rapids, Mi USA
My husband and I spent 11 days and 10 nights touring the wonderful cities and sights of Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada for our honeymoon. From start to finish, our experience with Lady Egypt was seamless. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our trip enjoyable. Our tour leader, Khalifa, and each of our tour guides (Mohammed, Mahmoud, and Shareef) were all exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and warm. At the end of each tour, we felt as if they were our good friends! I also want to acknowledge Nahla in the Sales Department for crafting the perfect itinerary for us and assisting us through each step of the booking process. Visiting Egypt was a lifelong dream of ours, and we are so thrilled to be able to now say that we've checked it off our bucket list! Some of the highlights of the trip included watching the sunrise from a hot air balloon ride over Luxor, a Nile Cruise, snorkeling in the Red Sea, & stunning views of temples, tombs, and pyramids. I truly can't say enough good things about Lady Egypt Tours. We loved every minute of our time here and cannot wait to return to this beautiful country again one day! Thank you SO MUCH for making our honeymoon an incredible and memorable one. ❤️ With love from the USA, Asia + Tyler Faoro
This is only our 3rd day here, but we are so impressed. Islam met us at the airport before we even got our bags! And Lady Egypt even provided an in country cell phone to use! Our sightseeing with Alaa as our driver and Ayman as our own personal egyptologist is the hight of luxury. And as we had researched, Egypt is very very safe and very friendly to tourists. Now is the time to visit, we haven't waited in line once! We're from Grand Haven, Michigan. Here for another 2 weeks doing the Nile and the Valley of the Kings.
Exceptional value! They took care of all my site entrance fees, transportation, and accommodation needs throughout my journey in Egypt. Highly recommend Mohammed Khalifa and his team. Egypt is a wonderful country, I always felt safe (as a female/american.) You only live once! Must visit EGYPT and marvel at the spectacular history and modern-day culture!
We did a 9 day tour with Lady Egypt which included Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Luxor, Alexandria and the Nile cruise. Everything was wonderful and not one negative aspect. Pls use them for your Egypt tour packages and you wont be disappointed.
I generally don't share much in Facebook. But I am now sharing few important aspects because others can make use of that. Before the Egypt tour, lots of our friends/ family members cautioned us not to visit Egypt/ to take adequate protection while visiting Egypt. While Googling, I have also find such kind of warning advice many places. However, as usual, I have ignored all such advises because I always dreamed to visit Egypt since long time. Honestly, I was also quiet worrie...
DO NOT be afraid to visit Egypt! We had a great time with Lady Egypt - we had our own very knowledgeable Egyptologist who not only filled us in on the sights but also introduced us to the food and culture, as well as comfortable hotels and transportation. We never felt scared or uncomfortable- the Egyptians were almost embarrassingly welcoming, wanting to get pictures of themselves with us and saying "Welcome to Egypt!" Lady Egypt Tours took care of all details for a very reasonable price: we had a private itinerary for five of us so didn't have to go in a crowd. Highly recommended!
Lady Egypt Tours is absolutely spectacular. I and my two travel companions had around 10 days to travel from Israel (where we had already been on a tour) to Egypt, and then to Jordan, and then needed to get back into Israel to catch our flight home. We told all of that to Lady Egypt and they created a custom made itinerary that included everything we needed/wanted at an incredibly affordable price. The tour guides we had throughout our trip were INCREDIBLE, very kind, extraordinarily knowledgeable and went above and beyond at every point. I did TONS of research for tour companies in Egypt/Middle East, and Lady Egypt was by far the most highly recommended, and had the best prices. Their services are worth far more than they charge, but for them the importance is for tourists to be able to afford to see their country, and it shows. As for safety, you will be taken care of every step of the way, they always have someone to greet you and pick you up at the airport/border/train station, wherever, and will make sure you are looked after and advised at every point, which is necessary in a region such as the Middle East, especially for those new to the region. Lady Egypt made our trip everything we wanted and more, and we are extremely grateful to them. Thank you Lady Egypt!
We wanted to say how much we enjoyed our trip to Aswan & Luxor. Lady Egypt really took care of all the details, and we had a comfortable. enjoyable, and pleasant vacation. Having our own guide was a big blessing, especially when the kids got tired. And throughout the whole trip, it was comforting to know that someone was there if we needed anything. The boat & hotel were wonderful. In fact, if we had time I would have stayed at the Steinberger for a couple of days. Very lovely place. Thanks Again!!!
I have now done 4 amazing tours with Lady Egypt. The first in 2010 and the last in October 2013. Their organisation of our tours, in particular with the last one as we had to make some last minute changes was exceptional. Our guides were excellent, informative and fun to be with and our drivers were very skilled and safe to travel with. I would highly recommend Lady Egypt for anyone travelling to Egypt.
I have done 5 tours now with Lady Egypt, my first was way back in 2006 and my last one this year. If you want a holiday that is seamless, fun informative and with the best guides in the world then Lady Egypt is for you!
Egypt is such a wonderful country that is rich in history and culture, Visting Egypt was a lifetime experience that was special with Lady Egypt Tours. The staff of lady Egypt are truly amazing. From the tour operator (Nahla) who arranged and booked the best hotels and Nile cruise for me, tour representatives (ahmad mohamadi, mohamad ahmad (kemo), mahmoud, and Ahmad) who were some of the best people i ever met they were very nice and consederet especially mohamadi who handled my itinerary and was absolutely friendly. The tour guides/ egyptologists (mohamad maghrebe, Ayman, and Ashraf Al badery) had an extensive knowledge about Egyptian history and i have learned a lot from them especially Ashraf who i spent the most time with in the saaid. And the drivers were great. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable with Lady Egypt Tours, they handled everything in the best way possible and were with me the minute I landed in Cairo to the last minute before my flight. Lady Egypt Tours is a traveling agency that is highly professional, well organized and trust worthy. And hopefully in the future i travel with them again.
We just returned from a 21 day private tour of Egypt arranged by Lady Egypt Tours. It was a fantastic trip and Lady Egypt made it easy, fun and interesting. The best compliment was from my wife, who is sometimes less enthusiastic about traveling to far off places, said it was a trip of a lifetime. No better compliment could be made in my opinion! I worked with Nahla in the Giza office to develop our itinerary. We exchanged numerous emails over several months to get exactly what we wanted. Her input was invaluable in making our trip not too intense each day. She was very helpful and was quick to respond to each email. To Lady Egypt credit, they were very flexible after we started the trip to make slight changes to the itinerary. All of the hotels, drivers, trip representatives and guides were excellent. Special thanks to Annas who was the trip representative who oversaw our trip. The cell phone they let us use came in handy several times. Mustapha was our guide for our 7 days in the Cairo area and Hany was our guide in Aswan, the Nile cruise and Luxor. They each had an extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and made our trips to the sights fun and informative. They also gave us insights on the Egyptian way of life (both modern and ancient) and helped us navigate the ins and outs of touring. We left Egypt with two new friends. We would not hesitate to recommend Lady Egypt. The cost was reasonable, the representatives and guides were great and the accommodations were top notch. When the new Grand Egyptian Museum opens, we will return to Egypt and will certainly go with Lady Egypt.
Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo From the planning with Nahla, to when we were handed our boarding passes when we left Cairo to head home, we were treated as If we were the only customer they had. It is difficult to pick out just one guide or representative that we dealt with, because they all had the same attitude, make this trip unforgettable for these people. From their extensive knowledge of their guides, to their extensive network of people on the ground, and their unfailing coordination in all aspects of this trip, it was second to none. We felt completely safe and comfortable at all times and would definitely recommend Lady Egypt for any once, or twice, in a lifetime experience . The Egyptian weather was pleasant, low 80's in April, and the Egyptian people were very pleasant. Don't let being nervous prevent you from experiencing the Land of The Pharaohs, It is awesome!
Mohamed was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We had very limited time, so had only booked this very short tour. I was very appreciative of Mohamed not putting on the 'hard sell' when he mentioned going to the Papyrus museum/shop. I told him that we didn't want to go and he didn't press the matter. This is important to me as the constant hectoring by other tour guides that we came across is very tiresome. Thank you Mohamed
Review of: 13-Night Small-Group Egypt Adventure Tour from Cairo Lady Egypt created a custom adventure tour for our group of 12 people. It is difficult to give highlights because every bit was as incredible as the next. The cruise along the Nile was both relaxing and exciting - combining luxury with adventure - we visited ancient temples via horse and carriage one day and ballooned over The Valley of the Kings then next. Our desert adventure to Siwa Oasis gave us a glimpse into the life of the Bedouin people who cooked us a feast served during an evening of music. Our visit to a Nubian village gave us the opportunity to buy some local handicrafts in the markets and meet the pet crocodiles who live inside every family's house. The beauty of Egypt is indescribable and my only complaint, that we did not have enough time to see everything - was highlighted in Alexandria where we could easily have spent an entire day just at the modern Library of Alexandria, but our very patient and knowledgeable guide, Waleed, thankfully moved us along to explore the catacombs where it is rumoured that Alexander the Great's body is somewhere entombed. In conclusion, I recommend Lady Egypt because their attention to detail is impeccable, their staff are friendly and they genuinely want to make sure that you love their country as much as they do.
We had booked a 12 nights unique customized itinerary with Lady Egypt Tours covering El Alamein, Siwa, Giza, Alexandria, cruise from Aswan to Luxor and Hurghada. The booking process and finalization of Itinerary was seamless with Abeer. She was very helpful and prompt with all our requests and queries. She even upgraded us in 2 hotels. We were greeted at the airport by Islam who assisted us with the migration formalities and also gave a an good introduction on Egypt. He was in touch with us through the trip and was very approachable. The entire tour was so well organized down to the minutest detail. All the people we interacted with from Lady Egypt tours were most pleasant, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were extremely well looked after and couldn’t ask for more. A very special word of thanks and appreciation for our Guides Fayed and Ahmed (from Siwa). Fayed is an amazing guide. He was there with us through the trip and made sure that we are safe everywhere. His level of knowledge on any subject, ranging from ancient Egyptian history to current affairs, is par excellence. His communication skills and generous information sharing made such a huge difference in our exploration of Egypt. He shared his knowledge with such patience and always with a smile. This was the Ramadan time and it must have been so difficult to talk that much without food or water through the day, but he was wonderful and handled the whole tour very efficiently, in all aspects. Ahmed (from Siwa) is another person who touched our hearts. He is one of the warmest and most caring persons we have ever come across. My father got a stroke on the Mountain of Dead in Siwa, and the way Ahmed looked after him personally is something we’ll never ever forget. He was a God send. He took such fast action in that time of crisis and took great care of my Dad. Ahmed, Fayed, the driver and his co-driver were all very kind and helpful. Things could have gone terribly wrong that day. Timely attention, hospitalization and care revived him. We can’t thank Ahmed enough …words will not suffice. Quad biking in Hurghada sure was a high point, very very exciting. And the top ranking I would give to the Desert Jeep safari on the sand dunes of Siwa. It was absolutely thrilling and adrenalin pumping. Western Sahara is magical. Sharif who managed our quad biking tour is also a very nice person. Warm, friendly, jovial, humorous and fun to be with. Ahmad (Luxor) was great too. He organized our hot air ballooning very well. We would definitely recommend Lady Egypt to all we know. They are the best !!
Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo We have spent the last two days touring Cairo and Alexandria and I can not recommend this company highly enough. To begin with, Abeer organized our trip and my communication with her through email was always prompt and helpful. We were met at the airport by Ahmed and he helped us through immigration and customs which was a great relief. Another Ahmed met us the next morning and took us to the pyramids and even organized a camel ride for us at the pyramids which was my daughter’s greatest wish. His knowledge of Egyptology was extensive and he was kind and very attentive to every detail that we needed. The museum was also a highlight of our day in Cairo. We really appreciated the things he taught us and how he let us know what things were important to see and do and which things we could skip. Also went to the Sound and Light Show at the pyramids which they rescheduled for us since we were late arriving the first day. Highlights from our day in Alexandria were the catacombs and the library. Food was always excellent and we also appreciated both Ahmeds and their advice on tipping and what to wear and information on local customs. We have felt very comfortable and safe and well cared for.
We explored Egypt through Lady Egypt Tours, covering North, West, South and East Egypt in 12 days. It was an exciting and action-packed itinerary, which was put in place by Abeer from Lady Egypt Tours. Egypt has a lot more to offer, besides pyramids and Nile cruise. Western Sahara is particularly intoxicating and the harsh Eastern Desert landscape lapped by the striking blue waters of Red Sea provides a different experience. Abeer gave me the most prompt and excellent inputs, which shaped up each day with precision planning and maximum utilization of time. We are fast-paced travelers and she ensured our tour surpassed all expectations. We could cover, see, imbibe and experience almost all aspects of Egypt, be it scooting the dunes of Western Sahara or Quad biking through the Eastern desert, understanding in depth ancient Egyptian history or flowing down the Nile in sheer luxury ...we left little. On ground execution was also flawless. Islam managed and coordinated everything meticulously, keeping in constant touch with our group. He also gave suggestions on additional activities we could do in that given timeframe. Thanks to him, we fitted in some hot air ballooning too, at Luxor. Transport, guide, drivers, accommodation, food, all was excellent. Abeer even got two of our hotels upgraded. The entire tour was very well organized down to the minutest detail. All staff of Lady Egypt is most pleasant, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were extremely well looked after and couldn’t ask for more. A very very special word of thanks goes out to our guide Fayed, who was with us throughout the tour and Ahmed, who managed our stay and activities in Siwa. Fayed’s level of knowledge, communication skills and generous information sharing made such a huge difference in our travel experience. He shared his knowledge with such patience and always with a smile. We understand it must have been difficult to talk that much without food or water through the day, since it was Ramadan time. He handled the whole tour very efficiently. And heartfelt thanks to Ahmed for making our Siwa stay so memorable. He is such a warm person and he took care of our every need. One of our group members took seriously ill in Siwa, and without Ahmed’s help and support we might not have got such swift medical aid. He acted at lightening speed and stood by us every step of the way, till we were rearing to go again. Fayed and Ahmed are absolutely wonderful people. So, a big big thankyou to the entire Lady Egypt team. They are fabulous. I would highly recommend them. If you plan to travel to Egypt, you don’t need to look any further. Book your tour with Lady Egypt for a most fantastic travel experience!
We went on a 12 days customized tour of Egypt from 09 to 20 May 2019. Our complex tour program was customized by a highly professional and experienced travel agency. It was meticulously planned and impeccably executed by Abeer from Lady Egypt Tours. Our guide was Fayed, most knowledgeable and articulate. For an average tourist Egypt is only about Pyramids, Sphinx, mummies and Nile River Cruise. Nearly 95% of Egypt is desert. Unless you have toured the deserts, you have not seen Egypt. The Western Sahara desert, that is, West of Nile, is sandy and full of sand dunes and beautiful natural Palm Oases. The desert Safari takes you for a thrilling drive over series of high Sand Dunes. In Siwa near, Libya border, one of the Oasis has Cleopatra’s pool in which she used to bathe. During World II, biggest tank battels were fought in the desert area lying between Marsa Matrouh and Al Alamein. The great battel of Al Alamein was fought between Axis forces commanded by General Rommel (Desert Fox) and Allied forces commanded by Field Marshal Montgomery. Rommel suffered defeat. Winston Churchill said, “It may almost be said, “Before Alamein we never had a victory. After Alamein we never had a defeat". The Eastern Sahara desert, east of Nile, is rocky with numerous hillocks. The noon time heat melts the marrow in your bones and sucks the moisture out of your body. The Quad Bike ride, of about 50 Kms, in this desert, is a test of your spirit of adventure and physical fitness. The coastal drive along the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez is amazing. A boat trip in the Suez Canal gives one a glimpse of the Sinai Desert also.
We booked with Lady Egypt for our 11 day small group tour with Abeer who was so helpful on getting us all of the additional add ons. We talked with her many times and she was so helpful and responded immediately. To our surprise when we arrived in Egypt I asked where the other passengers were and was told it was a private tour for my family. As an American I was a little nervous from what we hear on the media, but I felt safer than Europe. We would walk around at night with no problems. Everyone we came across in the streets were so happy Americans were there and said how much they love us. Let me start by saying we had someone with us every step of the way. We had a representative check us into each hotel and cruise as well as checking us into the airport. This is on top of our drivers and guides. Our tour guide stayed with us on the cruise and was there for anything we needed. Our contact person who was based in Cairo was Ahmed Mohamdey and he was amazing giving us a cell phone to use to contact him and he called many times through out the tour to make sure everything was to our liking. When we went on the hot air balloon ride at 3:30am we had a representative come with us to make sure everything went well and watched anything we wanted to leave in the car while in the balloon. Other passengers on the cruise were so impressed with Lady Egypt!! In Hurghada another guest was very rude during breakfast and when Mohamed came to collect us in our private car to catch the snorkeling tour he made sure to make room for us at a sold out restaurant on the property so we didn’t have to eat there again. Where we went (amazing trip and 100% recommend): Cairo - the pyramids!! We bought an extra ticket to go inside the largest one which was so worth it!! Our guide Mohamed Karem was great! Stayed at le Meriden pyramids. Our favorite hotel! Aswan - Booked the Abu Simbel tour and so worth it! You leave your hotel at 3:30am and sleep in the car for 3 hours then see the amazing sight and come back with a side stop to the High Aswan Dam. Make sure you buy the photo ticket to take pictures inside Abu Simbel. Then check into the cruise and visit Philae Temple late afternoon. We had 2 drivers who took turns driving and the road was so smooth to Abu Simbel. Our guide was Mohamed Farah and he just got us! Made sure if no one was there to stop talking so we could get the best pictures then continue the information. Stayed at Helnan Aswan Hotel. Nile Cruise - you are only cruising for 1 day, but are on the beautiful ship for 3 nights. We stop at Kom Ombo and Edfu which were great. Stayed on Amwaj which was amazing!!! Highly recommend. The service was superior and my daughter has a dairy allergy which they made her a special dessert every day. So thoughtful and everyone was nice!! Mohamed Farah was on the cruise with us the entire time. Luxor - day 1 hot air balloon ride for sunrise over Luxor was a must!! Do not miss this. We met our Lady Egypt representative at 3:30am and he stayed with us until we met up with our tour guide. Farah took us to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Colossi or Memnon, and Valley of the Kings. Our ticket included 3 tombs, but we opted to buy a ticket for king tut and so happy we did. You get to see his mummy and one of his sarcophagus. We bought the ticket to take photos inside the tombs. Another group on the cruise was told by their guide it wasn’t worth going to see king tut and after seeing our photos and talking to them they were so disappointed they didn’t do it. Luxor - day 2 Karnak Temple in the morning which was a favorite and we wanted to do Luxor Temple at sunset time to get photos in the day and night when it was all lit up. Best decision and suggestion from our guide Karem. Stayed at Sonesta St George which had a good pool Hurghada - I wanted to see the Red Sea and a stop here was a nice time for relaxing. I prefer staying at Cancun than here. So many people as it’s offered cheap to Eastern Europeans. We went on a glass bottom boat snorkeling tour which was fun and our representative Mohamed came with us and watched our stuff while we snorkeled and took a private car so we wouldn’t have to wait so long to drop off and pick up other passengers. Stayed at Sun Rise garden beach and my kids loved the water slides! The beach was clean Back to Cairo - day 1 Booked the city tour which took us to Citade of Saladin, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Coptic Cairo, Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Abu Serga, Khan El Khalil bazaar (all fake just walk through), and the Egyptian Museum which is not air conditioned so go early. We bought the mummy room ticket and it was crazy to see so many kings from thousands of years ago. Stayed again at le meridien pyramids and upgraded to a better room that was huge overlooking they pyramids. Day 2 changed our mind the day before since sand boarding was going to be too hot. They asked us what we would like to do instead. The first pyramids of course and a small camel ride since no visit to Egypt can be complete without one. So happy we were able to see The Pyramid of Djoser (first step pyramid before they built the pyramids) in the Saqqara necropolis where we also visited a noblemans house (original colors), Pyramid of Unas and went inside, the Red Pyramid (which was built by the father of the King buried in the largest pyramid in Giza Khufu's). Such an amazing day! For time of year, we have kids 10 years and 13 years so we flew into Cairo on June 15th. That was a perfect time!!! No one is here and it’s not that hot - it’s hot, but more like sauna heat so the dryness makes it much more bearable. I have been posting photos on Facebook and everyone is amazed at the lack of people and the sights we saw. If you are on the fence like we were please do it! You will feel safe especially going through Lady Egypt. I wanted to leave a review since my decision to book this trip and tour company came from reading reviews here. Our flight leaves tomorrow from Cairo to take us on our next leg of our trip to Kenya. Happy travels!!
