Lady Egypt Tours designed a tour that incorporated all of the places my husband and I wanted to travel to within the 10 day timeframe for our trip. Everything was exceptionally well organised and all staff highly professional. When we landed in Cairo, a rep, Annis, met us inside the airport and helped us buy our visa, took us to our transport and even checked us into the hotel. We didn't have to worry about a thing. If anyone is worried about security I can assure you that all the hotels they booked for us in were of a high standard and had a lot of security check points. Any of the sites we visited from the pyramids at Giza, the tombs in the Valley of the Kings to Karnak, Lady Egypt provided us with an Egyptologist. We were lucky to have Emad who was highly knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and had a great sense of humour. It made us understand the rich history at all the sites we visited. We stayed on the Amwaj Nile Cruise boat around Aswan and Luxor. The boat is very well equipped (including a swimming pool on the deck). The food was excellent and the cabins super spacious and had all the mod cons. We ended our trip in Hurgada. The resort was huge and amazing. We went snorkelling in the Red Sea and the sea life you can see is outstanding. We felt safe the whole time. We found the Egyptian people to be super friendly and helpful. Thank you Lady Egypt Tours for creating a memorable and enjoyable vacation for us.
The upside: 1. Easy, responsive booking ahead of time, along with easy-to-use links to pay for the trip 2. Guides were excellent--personable, knowledgeable, with one more serious (Aboudy in Luxor and Aswan) and one quite funny (Sharif in Cairo) Drivers were amazing. Cairo traffic is insane, and it makes 3. The package was a good deal, included everything we requested ahead of time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot air balloon ride, the felucca experiences, the nighttime tours, and the falafel sandwich at the foot of the pyramids was simply to die for. 4. Khalifa, our agent rep, met us at the airport in Cairo and when I say he is the King of the Airport, I do not joke. In all our travels I have yet to meet anyone who can swoosh us through the lines and process better than he did. 5. The Steigenberger Hotel is Luxor was lovely. Clean, quiet, reasonable prices for meals, quick room service, etc. I only wish we had had more time there. The downside: 1. The 4-star hotel we were booked into in Cairo was problematic. I had read reviews and expressed my concerns but was told not to worry. I should've pushed it as the Barcelo' Pyramids Hotel had issues upon issues. That will be a separate review. We stayed there the first night and then for two additional nights, fraught with ringing fire alarms, bugs, noisy rooms from the street level, etc. Khalifa managed to get new rooms for us, but as "going to Egypt" is a rare experience, this hotel was a stain on the trip. 2. I fell. I am not a clumsy person, but my eyes were full of temple and sadly no one warned me that the step was there. My fault. My arm still hurts, but the warning is real. Look down. Trust me, I didn't make the mistake again. 3. Read your contract carefully. There will be absolutely no extras and the guide will take you exactly to what is listed. We did manage to get a side trip to a pharmacy, but that was it. This was, again, our error, due to lack of knowledge. In the past, we have hired drivers and guides "for the day or for the morning" and they would take us where we wanted to go. That was not the case with the Lady Egypt drivers and guides. ALL were most professional, but anything not on the contract was extra--like $40 and up a person extra. We did book a tour to the Valley of the Workers and it was awesome. But, it was extra. So, read and plan to make sure everything you want is already in the contract. 4. Be prepared to tip and come with ideas of what you will spend. Get your money exchanged and then be firm with yourself as to what tips will go to whom. I think we overtipped some and undertipped others, mostly because we didn't do our homework. Bottom line--Go to Egypt. We did feel heckled in Luxor by the street salesmen, but it was simply awe-inspiring. Egypt was everything I dreamed it could be, and I never felt unsafe. Lady Egypt's staff work very hard to ensure that the trip is an amazing one. Learn from our experiences and GO!
Just returned from a 9 day trip to Cairo, Luxor and Answar with a tailor made itinerary developed jointly with Lady Egypt. The ground staff could not have been more helpful. Getting in and out of the airport was a breeze with Khalefa's help. The Nile Cruise was an amazing highlight, a sanctuary away at the end of each day of exploring. The rooms were large with private full bathrooms and the meal buffets were fresh and diverse. No problem for a vegetarian! Our tour guides were professional and knowledgeable, and often went above and beyond that of a tour guide. Lady Egypt organized our involvement in a hot air balloon over the Nile, which was also a highlight. Any small problems were quickly fixed and we always felt that any further assistance was readily available. We always felt safe, although the hecklers at times were bothersome. No problems and no complaints, I would recommend Lady Egypt and their on the ground staff to anyone that wants to see the wonders of Egypt!!!
This tour company did a wonderful job; Egypt can be a challenging country to navigate, but I always felt that our guides were very competent, kind and genuinely interested in our well-being. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering a tour of Egypt, he will not be disappointed!
Lady Egypt was the best organized tour I have ever been a part of. From beginning to end everyone we worked with was professional, conscientious, and truly cared about our well being and the enjoyment of our trip. Booking and setting up the itinerary was smooth and easy on my part (I asked a lot of questions and made lots of changes). Once off the plane we were greeted by Aniss who took care of us every step of the way, any time we were in Cairo. We had 3 guides during the course 12 day stay in Egypt. All of them were top notch. They were knowledgeable, thoughtful, punctual, helpful; everything you want in a guide. When something needed changing it happened, if something wasn't quite right they fixed it. It made traveling so much easier. One guide recognized that I was been out in the heat enough. He therefore rearranged the tour for the next day to give me a break. Our cruise was picked by Lady Egypt and it couldn't have been better. Nice large room and the largest bathroom I have ever had on a cruise. Our guide stayed with us and so if we had any problems we could always be in touch (but nothing went wrong). We took arranged extra trips like a hot air balloon ride which was amazing. We also did excursions that weren't planned and I am so glad our guide suggested the extra trip. All our flights within Egypt were planned by Lady Egypt and we never had any issues. All flights were on time and our guide was always there to greet us. We choose to go to Dahab in the Siani. We had a wonderful time there and was a complete change of pace from touring the ancient wonders. We felt safe the entire time. The people of Egypt are warm and friendly. I heard before we left about the hagglers but they were no worse then any other place we have traveled. Tipping is part of the culture so come prepared. Our guides were always willing to help us figure out what tip for whom. I used American dollars several times and it was accepted but I think they would prefer if you exchange your money. If you have time I highly recommend taking a few days off from sightseeing and go to the beach area. We loved it, snorkeling, swimming, we climbed canyons, saw an oasis and walked the beach town of Dahab. If you want a no hassle, enjoyable experience when visiting Egypt, then Lady Egypt is the way to go.
Not sure where to submit this review as we did a multi day trip to Nile. We planned a visit to Egypt and a Nile cruise at the last minute - in May. Our local travel agent could not help and so we searched on the Internet via Tripadvisor. We discovered Lady Egypt tours, who were very responsive and professional, adapting to changes in our ideas about what we wanted to do (we had not really done our homework). We were wary of booking directly with a local company in Egypt but once we arrived we were totally reassured. They were professional, attentive, friendly and experienced. They arranged a tour just for us - we thought we were in some kind of group tour and asked how many were on it - 2 was the answer! So we had our own car/van and guide and driver on land and a luxury boat on the Nile booked by them (the Sunesta Moon). It was very reasonably priced. The guides were excellent especially our guide for the cruise, Emad, who was with us all the time for 6 days. He was superb and among the best guides we have ever had - and we have traveled extensively. All in all a wonderful trip arranged by a very professional and experienced organisation. Also, it is very safe as far as we can tell. Some of our friends were worried about us going but there is no need to be concerned and Lady Egypt was very reassuring. It is sad that the number of tourists is about half what it was, as the locals are suffering. For example, we only had 13, including us, on the boat from Luxor to Aswan, on a boat that can take about 110. This was partly due to it being the end of the season. But the advantage is that we had all the amazing sites more or less to ourselves. Do go before the numbers start to return to what they were, you will not regret it. And you will help the local economy recover. It is very inexpensive right now - unless you overdo it on the tipping, which is important everywhere as the locals depend on the tips. We went from Luxor to the Aswan Dam and back but you don't see anything more on the way back. But we found that the two-way trip made the trip more relaxing and enjoyable. Going only one way means a more hectic agenda.
This trip was honestly the best experience of my life! It was so eye opening to see the ancient culture and present culture that takes place today. So many of the temples and tombs that we were lucky enough to experience are in such great condition to be over 2,000 years old. The sites here are simply breathtaking. The people of Egypt were so welcoming, respectful and kind. There wasn't a place we went where we weren't able to make a new friend. I would highly recommend using Lady Egypt Tours if anyone plans on going. This company went above and beyond from where we stayed to the transportation. After arriving in Egypt we decided we wanted to do some extra things and simply told the tour company what we wanted to do and they set it all up. And last but not least our tour guides. They are the most kindhearted people I have ever meant. Mohamed and Aboudy truly made the trip worthwhile. Both guides were so passionate and full of knowledge about ancient Egyptian history. They never got annoyed by the hundreds of questions we asked or millions of pictures we took. I would go back to Egypt in a heart beat. If you ever have the opportunity to go, don't let anyone stop you. You may miss out on the best adventure of your lifetime. To give a little background I went with my two roommates, we are all females in our mid 20s. We felt completely safe the whole time we were there, just in case that is anything you are wondering about because I know we were! Our tour group just ended up being us three and it worked out perfectly!
This trip was awesome from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted at the airport by our representative, Islam, who had a bouquet of flowers for each of the ladies in our group. Great way to make a first impression. He made our journey through the airport a breeze. During the ride to the hotel, Islam shared some useful advice. He made sure we were all settled and knew the plan for the following day before leaving us. Islam made us feel at ease and I'm glad he was the first to meet us. Islam was great! The following days we traveled to Aswan and Luxor visiting the temples accompanied by our tour guide, Ashraf. We had the pleasure of having Ashraf with us for 3 days as we traveled from Aswan to Luxor aboard the Minerva cruise. Ashraf was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and well versed in the history of the temples and sites we were visiting. He was never bothered by our abundance of questions and made sure we had sufficient time to explore on our own. Ashraf was a great match for our group and I'm thankful that he got paired with us. I was sad to see him go when our time with him came to an end but at the same time was pleased to meet our next guide who was just as wonderful. Back in Cairo Big Mo led us through the pyramids and the museum and also accompanied us to Alexandria. Big Mo was also very knowledgeable and well versed and had a genuine enthusiasm. Without me telling him, Big Mo started to call me the shortened version of my name which I usually only hear from close family and friends so I guess it's safe to say we were pretty comfortable with one another. The entire experience with lady Egypt was great and everyone was awesome. There was never a time where we feared for our safety. We were always able to get in contact with someone if there was not someone with us already. The vans that transported us were cool, clean, and comfortable. One of the vans even had wifi which was great because it was a 3 hour ride each way. I would highly recommend Lady Egypt and am glad that we chose them. Another plus for Lady Egypt is the fact that I had a birthday surprise from both Ashraf and Islam
My friend and I (both in our 20s) had an absolutely amazing time in Egypt!! Lady Egypt made our experience unforgettable. We were able to customize our trip beforehand, so we were able to visit everything we wanted (plus more). We were enthusiastically greeted at the airport by our representative, Islam, who made sure we were informed of our itinerary, checked us into our hotel, approved of our guides, and even continued to check in with us our entire trip. We were especially grateful for him answering all of our questions we had about Egypt and recommending an amazing hot air balloon ride in Luxor (my favorite part of the trip!). Islam really went above and beyond! Lady Egypt provided us with the best guides in every city. Zizo, our hospitable and enthusiast guide in Cairo, was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and made our time in Cairo very fun! After Cairo, we visited Aswan and Luxor. Our awesome guide, Ahmed, gave us detailed information about every temple we visited. He even made sure to include information about mathematics when he found out we are math teachers! After visiting so many Egyptian wonders, we traveled to Hurghada and relaxed at our beautiful Red Sea resort. Lady Egypt is truly a fantastic company! They took care of everything for us - accommodations, food recommendations, itinerary, transportation, etc. - and made sure we were always happy. We felt safe and welcomed 100% of the time. Everyone must visit Egypt at some point!
My first question is how is Lady Egypt ranked no.6 in tour operators for Giza? They should be no.1 by a mile !! Right from the onset, we had Ms. Nahla Gaber who helped me plan the entire itinerary and answered every small query of ours with utmost patience and details. She became like a family member for us even before we started the tour and proactively helped us so much. Every suggestion she gave was valuable and she also surprised us by upgrading us to upper deck cabins in our cruise. She has to be one of the most amazing people I have met. Next Mr. Mahmoud Tarek who came to pick us at the airport and drop us back. He also used to call regularly during the tour and would check up if we had difficulty. He even catered to my silly demand of tasting camel liver meat which he did fulfill on the last day. He walked in the airport like he owned the place. Lastly but the most important was our tour guide Mr. Mohammed Kareem who not only was with us for 9 days like a family member, he also behaved like one. Always polite, knowledgeable and so caring about Egyptian culture. He took care of our daughters so genuinely that my daughter still calls him Kareem uncle after seeing his photos. Some people do it for money while some for passion and Kareem was so clearly passionate about the entire trip. Every detail of the trip was so well planned that we did not miss out on anything and got to do everything. I have traveled to so many places across the world and tour operators do their best to help tourists but no one has come close to the professionalism, warmth and love shown by Lady Egypt tours. I sincerely hope you guys spread to more countries so that we can plan our trips to you. Wherever I go next I wish I could roll up Nahla, Mahmoud and Mohammed with us to plan the entire trip. Just one negative - You have been so wonderful that every tour operator henceforth will be compared to you guys and I am pretty sure they wont be able to match that level set by all of you. Some suggestions : 1. Keep a cooler box stocked with juices, water and soft drinks for tourists on a daily basis which can be included in the tour price. 2. Take a look at some of the drivers as the one we had in Cairo and Aswan were very good but the one in Luxor was pretty ordinary. Please visit Egypt as it is a wonderful country and needs tourism but more importantly if you are visiting then book it only through Lady Egypt !!
Wonderful travel w/ private guides and drives. All peoples friendly,,,I fell high safety in all my travel. police, guard very friendly and protect us. In this day having dollar is cheap to be in Middle east . Cruiser in the Nile river was good too. Jordan also a very safety place. all peoples very friendly too. Nice resort in the death sea. During my travel I decide to visit additional sites to complete almost all the archaeological place. I will came back !!
My husband and I along with another couple visited Egypt for 8 days through Lady Egypt and we were extremely impressed with the efficiency of their services. The local representatives of Lady Egypt met us right inside the airport, helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our vehicle. Similarly at the time of departure we were escorted right into the airport till we checked in our luggage. Our thanks to all the representatives who accompanied us with a special thanks to Mr. Anass. That indeed was for us a customer's delight! The guides who were assigned to us were extremely knowledgeable, made us as comfortable as possible and took great care of our safety. Being with them made the trip all the more enjoyable. The drivers were very good and everyone was very punctual. The vehicles very comfortable and well maintained. Our Nile Cruise was the highlight of our tour and our special thanks to our tour guide, Mr. Emad for that. He was there for us all the way from Luxor to Aswan. We would highly recommend Lady Egypt to anyone visiting Egypt and would certainly use their services when we visit Egypt next. Thank you Lady Egypt
First, everybody should visit Egypt, if only to marvel at the magnificent history of man and to see such a complete civilization. Second, it is perfectly safe and as visitors we did not feel uncomfortable even once. Our experience with Lady Egypt was on a 9 day tour along the Nile Valley, starting in Cairo, on to Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel and finally back to Cairo. Each leg of the trip was extremely well planned and executed and offered us an insight into the magnificent history and culture of ancient and modern Egypt. Our tour guides Walid Nawasany and Ahmed Aboudy were extremely well trained Egyptologists who brought each temple, colossus, and tomb alive for us. Our tour representatives were with us throughout the trip and ensured that we were safe and secure throughout. Everything worked like clockwork and was exactly to our specifications. Special touches like a meal by a gorgeous riverside Nubian restaurant in Aswan, ensuring that we had rooms with great views in both Luxor and Aswan, just added that extra bit that went a long way. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lady Egypt to anyone if for nothing else then their excellent guides alone who made us fall in love with the place.
My only regret is that we didn't go to Egypt sooner. Lots of people think it is dangerous but the State Department had no travel warnings for Egypt and Americans working in the embassy there told me they felt safer there than in some parts of the US. However my kids and I are experienced enough travelers to know better than to try and tour Egypt on our own and the exchange rate meant we could afford to get the best tour company so thats what we did. I researched until I found the company with the best reviews, Lady Egypt Tours. Then I called my embassy to make sure it was not on the scam watch list or had lots of complaints which it had none. Lady Egypt was professional from start to finish taking care of everything from the time we arrived to the drop off back at the airport for departure. We had Egyptologist Mahmoud Salem with us on every tour explaining and answering all of our questions making the experience much more than just a photo op. He was so amazing he became a part of our family and will always be one of our best memories from the trip. I had five college kids on this trip and all of them said it was life changing. We all learned more on this trip than we ever imagined and we met some of the nicest people with the biggest hearts. At no time did we ever feel unsafe as everyone we met was so welcoming and appreciative of our interest in their culture. This was by far the best trip we have ever made and like I said initially my only regret is that we didn't do it sooner.
Our 8 days Egypt tour was organized by Lady Egypt tours in January 2017. Right from the very beginning, the meet and greet services at the airport right through the entire trip, we were assisted by professional representatives and tour guides. Our every request was taken into consideration, and as looked after as far as possible. Visa was on arrival for Indians through Lady Egypt Tours. Walid, our rep, Nahla, our reservations person and guided Ahmed Aboudy and Walid made our trip truly memorable.
The guides where excelent, they take care of me and my wife with such attention that we feel like home, the van of the tours have ar conditioner, it was such a great expirience, i am sure that i am going back soon. Thanks Lady Egypt Tours
My cousin and I got hooked up w/ Lady Egypt on pure chance. They were a referral from the driver our Cairo hotel arranged for us and our trip was the better for it. We had looked online and could not find a package included everything we wanted to do in our time frame. Lady Egypt customized a tour for us at the last minute to include a day trip to Abu Simbel, 2-night stay in Helnan Aswan Hotel, 45-min felucca ride, tour of Kom Ombo temple, Edfu temple, Luxor temple, Valley of Kings, Worker's village, Hatshepsut temple, Karnak temple, 2-night stay at Steigenberger Hotel in Luxor, 2 lunches, transportation to the sites as well as to/from the airport, admission fees and tips. All at a very reasonable price. Our guide, Ahmed (a freelance contractor) was perfect. He spoke English well and we hit it off great. It was like having a friend show us around. The highlights for me were Abu Simbel and the Worker's village. The worker's village because you can see the colors that used to be on the columns, walls, etc of the temples. The 2 hotels were outstanding.
I can highly recommend this first class tour company. Not only is their staff very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and dedicated but also friendly, accommodating and always working in their clients' best interest. From the beginning to the very end of the 10 day trip Lady Egypt staff were exceptional and outstanding.
I did extensive research on which travel company to use, and I narrowed it down to Lady Egypt and Memphis Tours. Eventually chose Lady Egypt coz they were faster in responding via email. Booked a 4-day tour through Lady Egypt, 3 days in Cairo and 1 day in Luxor. The entire process was professionally managed. Emails were promptly responded to when we were making our arrangements before traveling to Egypt, itineraries of each day were sent in advance. We were able to negotiate prices down a little bit, but not by much. The guide arrived on time each day, along with a driver. There was also a tour leader who met us on the first day, but he wasn't really required (though he expected to be tipped at the end of the trip, and we had no choice but to tip him unnecessarily). The van was air-conditioned and comfortable. The guides in both Cairo and Luxor were soft spoken and very knowledgable. Our Cairo guide had majored in English Literature and Egyptology, the perfect combination for us! Given how much you need to listen to the guide, it is imperative that they be soft spoken, otherwise it can get tiring pretty quick listening to a guide who is too loud or animated. Both our guides were perfect in this regard. Overall we were very satisfied with Lady Egypt and would definitely recommend them. However, I do feel it is important to point out a few things that you may find helpful regardless of which tour company or travel agent you use for your tour: - They lay out upfront a few things that are not included in the tour, but they don't lay them all out. Here are some of the things that are not included - camel ride at the Pyramids of Giza, entry to King Tutankhamun's tomb at Valley of the Kings, entry to Mummy Room at the Egyptian Museum, and 1-2 others that I forget. To be fair, almost none of the tour companies will include any of these in the price they quote. - They mention that water bottles will be provided each day - not true at all. We ended up buying our own water, even bought water for the guides. - They advertised free wi-fi on the van - ummm, not true at all. - Most important (and super annoying) - each time we said we wanted to stop for lunch or coffee/snack, the guide and driver would go way off route to bring us to a restaurant that was priced high, and it was very obvious the guide/driver were getting a cut from that restaurant. This happened in Cairo and in Luxor, and it happened every single time we wanted to stop for lunch/coffee. On the final day, we simply insisted that we wanted to eat at the first decent restaurant that we came across on route, and we randomly picked a place that we came across while driving, and the food ended up being much cheaper than the restaurants they had chosen, and was more delicious. Our worst experience was in Luxor, where the guide insisted that we eat on the west bank, he took us to a hole in the wall restaurant that charged 120EGP per person. The food and service was terrible, and you would find it impossible to find this dump by yourself - it literally was a hole in the wall. Later in the evening, we picked a cafe ourselves on the east bank, and paid 100EGP total for all four of us!! You will likely come across this issue regardless of which tour company you use. It's just the nature of the drivers/guides in Cairo. It may be worthwhile if you can research where you want to eat, or insist that you will pick where to eat enroute. - Tipping - another sore issue where they will try to fleece you if you're not careful. First, there will be 1-2 people involved in the tour that are not really required and don't need to be tipped. For example, the tour leader that I mentioned above. He simply met us on the first day for 20 minutes, and then showed up on the last day for his tip. So the question is how much to tip? Here is what i gave based on my research, and it is more than enough. If you ask them, they will of course give you much higher numbers, but I think you can safely use these as tipping guidelines for tour guides in Cairo: Driver - 50 - 65 EGP per day Tour Guide - 100 - 125 EGP per day I had come across several forums that break down recommended tip amounts per person - I think the above amounts are good for a group of up to 6-8 people. For larger groups, naturally the tipping amount will go up. I also recommend placing the tips in a sealed envelope and handing them to the guide and driver at the end of the last day. This way they can't give you grief about the tip amount. All these issues exist with pretty much any travel agent or tour company you use. They all subcontract their tours to these local drivers and guides, they are not permanent employees. This is the reason I don't hold any of these issues against the tour company, just thought I'd point these out so that you're better prepared for your tour in Cairo!
Lady Egypt is an incredible, professional and caring tour company. As a 67 year old solo female traveler, I wanted flexibility to stay at a site as long as I wanted and did not want to hurry. I emailed Amanda in the New Zealand office of Lady Egypt with a list of things I wanted to see and experience. I gave her my timeframe and received a proposed itinerary from her. We worked together to tweak it a couple of times. She sent travel tips for Egypt including tipping advice, etc. Upon arrival, Annis met me and walked with me through the currency exchange and visa processes. He had a van waiting and I was taken to the hotel I chose. Annis is so sweet and gave me tips and information on the way to the hotel. He actually checked me into the hotel and went over the next days' schedule with me. He gave me his contact phone and he checked with me daily to see if all was going well. While in Cairo, ask for Muhammad for a guide. He is a very detailed and skilled teacher and has a great sense of humor! Every day I had a private Egyptologist and driver. It made logistics so easy- I was treated like a queen. I was able to change my itinerary any time I desired. Upon arrival in Luxor, I was met by another Lady Egypt representative and introduced to my guide, Aboudi. As before, I was checked into each new lodging by the Lady Egypt representative. Though there were many Chinese tourists, most sites were empty! I was the only visitor at Abul Simbel! Please consider Egypt. Lady Egypt was a joy. Egypt needs visitors and when I visited the exchange rate was 18LE to 1 US dollar so very inexpensive.
Lady Egypt did an excellent job coordinating all of my excursions, ensuring my safe travel throughout Egypt, registering me at each hotel and getting me through the airports swiftly. I didn't have to do a thing! This was my first solo trip and Lady Egypt made it very relaxing. I didn't feel like I was alone at all. I'll do it all over again with this group. Oh, the guides were fabulous. Especially my guide and driver in Cairo.
I booked my tour last minute, Lady Egypt did a fantastic job. From the guy (Islam) who met me at the airport with flowers, to my guide (Tamer) with me everywhere, I had a fantastic trip. Tamer taught me a lot, and showed me all parts of Egypt, both ancient and modern. All our transfers were on time, and where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be. I wish I'd had more time to explore, and the next time I come back I will definitely be calling Lady Egypt and Tamer.
Where do I begin? Me and my girlfriend were in the process of getting quotes from several travel agencies to travel Egypt through and we heard so many passionate testimonials about Lady Egypt that we eventually booked with them. We did a 7 day excursion. And we're so glad we did! From the moment we walked into the terminal of Cairo and were received by Khalifa, he assured us to relax and start enjoying the vacation cause everything else was to be taken care of. It may have been lucky but my girlfriend and I were the entirety of the tour group and we had an extremely knowledgeable tour guide at all times while out and about. Fayed and Aboudy could not be more gracious, patient and comforting with their thorough and enthusiastic manner. I want to stress that not ONCE did ever feel anything even remotely close to danger or fear. On the contrary, it felt extra special and intimate to interact with the ancient temples with less tourists around. The Egyptian pound was really weak (19 LE to $1 USD) so things were more affordable. The hotel rooms in Giza, Luxor and the room on the Nile river were all way more luxurious than i ever imagined. The bathrooms had bidets!!! On early days of flying to Aswan or Luxor, we were always escorted at all times, even at odd hours like 4 am, it truly felt like we were VIP. They even made sure we went to the best local food places as well as authentic local establishments (e.g. flower perfumery, papyrus museum, fine stone shop) Other companies were quoting us for so much more and it didn't even include many meals or admission to the numerous temples and tombs we were visiting. The price point from this company, as well as itinerary was by far the best bang for buck value. I could not recommend Lady Egypt more for a true, hassle free, safe Egypt experience. They're extremely professional, comforting and willing to tailor a trip exactly to your liking. Go visit Egypt!!!
This was one of the best trips that I've ever had in a long time. The agents that put my trip together did a great job with the short time that I stayed in Egypt. The transportation from the airport and throughout the whole trip was great. The hotels and the hospitality was amazing. The tour guides from Lady Egypt were very knowledgable about the subject matter. I would definitely come back to Egypt and use Lady Egypt as my tour guide agency in the future.
My tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, he made sure i saw everything I wanted to and gave me time to wonder around taking pictures.
