My experience with Lady Egypt surpassed every expectation. Visiting Egypt seemed like visiting a very close blood relation who was highly concerned about my comfort and well being. The guides who explained Egyptian history were very knowledgable and very proud and passionate about rich heritage of Egypt. Egypt is safe. Egyptians are more concerned about safety and well being of Egypt then anybody else. Please remember that tipping is highly appreciated for every service that you get in Egypt.

I have used Trip Advisor many times before and have decided it's time for me to give back to the Trip Advisor community to share a bit about my wonderful experience with Lady Egypt Tours. My boyfriend and I were looking to take a trip to get us out of our bubble and I am so glad we decided on Egypt and more specifically, on Lady Egypt Tours. Eman Elsheikh helped us customize our tour to ensure we got the most out of our time in Egypt. Communication with her was quick and clear. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the airport and offered assistance with my Visa, taken to get my luggage from baggage claim, and was quickly taken to the airport. Khalifa was very helpful from the very first meeting at the airport through drop off at the airport on our last day. Our accommodations were great throughout the trip and our tour guides, Fayed in Cairo/Alexandria and Aboudi in Aswan/Luxor, were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The sites were spectacular, food was delicious and varied, and we felt safe throughout our travels. I can't recommend Lady Egypt Tours and Egypt enough! Tip to those traveling in winter: bring several layers and a few jackets if you don't want to later see yourself wearing the same jacket in all your photos (like me). It was definitely colder than I expected.

Egypt is a beautiful place to visit and a must visit atleast once in your lifetime. Lady Egypt Tours coordinated everything very nicely and we did not have any problems during our holiday. Our guides Ahmed Khamouna, Ahmed Aboudy were very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. Anass who arranged our pickup, VISA on Arrival and other tours was well versed with everything. I highly recommend Lady Egypt Tours and request for these guides.

This travel agency made our tour of Egypt easy, comfortable, interesting and satisfying. To an unsuspecting, unwarned traveler, the peddlers of souvenirs could become very intimidating, but our guide Mr. Emad who took us around the sights of Luxor, Edfu, Komombo and Aswan helped us in every way. The representatives of this agency made all the arrangements, right from airport pick-up/drop, hotel check-ins/check-outs, transfers, cruise arrangements in the best possible manner. My husband and I visited Egypt in July 2016. It really was a trip of a lifetime, and the hospitality from Lady Egypt Tours was great and we always felt very safe and taken care of. We did the 7 night tour of Egypt - 2 nights in Cairo, 2 nights on a sleeper train and 3 nights on a Nile Cruise which went from Aswan to Luxor. Lady Egypt was always very reliable - we had very good tour guides in Cairo (Ahmed) as well as in Luxor and Aswan (Muḥammad) who taught us a lot about Egyptian history and always went the extra step to make sure we got the most out of our experience. Our drivers were always very safe and the food at the hotel as well as on the Nile Cruise was very good. Our host Islam in Cairo also took very good care of us during our time in Cairo. Overall, it was an amazing trip - there are so many beautiful things to see in Egypt like Valley of the Kings, many different temples and of course the Pyramids and we would recommend the trip - safety was not a concern for us with Lady Egypt as we always had someone with us to keep us safe. For the 7 nights accommodation, transportation, a local tour guide and entrance to all of the sites, this was an extremely good deal.

i took 7 days tour of egypt starts from alexandria ends at cairo, from day 1 to last day it was amazing experience with the tour guides , tour managers and other lady egypt staff, i really feel like a family of lady egypt. very well organized and well planned at each and every attraction. the guides are so helpful to explain the history of all attractions. Luxury Nile cruise was awesome experience of 3 nights. i like to share am vegetarian they specially served veg food menu at all times and locations. thanks for taking care.

I toured Cairo and Luxor with Lady Egypt in March 2013. The trip was a package deal i stumbled upon on the internet. My introduction to Lady Egypt was thus accidental and most fortunate because my 7 days with their tour guides was an experience I will never forget. The enlightening tour of Cairo's and Luxor's historic sites was conducted by a knowledgeable, and most personable team. My experience was more of being on a private tour because of the general unrestnin the region and the pending celebration of Mohammed's birthday. However, i never felt in any danger and was encouraged by my guide/coordinators who were wonderful. The drivers were efficient and flexible to my requests for contct with locals off the tourist circuit! The Egyptologists, especially Abraham in Cairo and Aboudy in Luxor were knowledgeable, personable and most accommodating to my desire for acultural and educational experience in Egypt. I would recommend them to everybody seeking a cultural exposure beyond the tourist sites so many package programs offer. An unanticipated treat was meeting Mr. Arafat's sister, Jemelah, during my tour in Luxor. Sadly, I returned to the USA a bit earlier than originally planned due to a family emergency. I sent a personal thank you to Lady Egypt with the promise to contact them directly upon my next trip to Egypt with family and friends. They responded with a return thank you, which underscored the professionalism of this organization and my recommendation of their services.

Before the Egypt tour, lots of our friends and family members cautioned us not to visit Egypt or alternatively to take adequate protection while visiting Egypt. Not only that, while Googling, I have also found similar kind of warning advice many places. However, as usual, I have ignored all such advises because I always dreamed to visit Egypt since long time. Honestly, I was also worried in last moment whether I have taken correct decision. But my decision was correct. All the chatters were proved wrong to me. As per my experience, Egypt is very safe for the tourist - at least now. It's equally safe for the male & female tourist. I didn't find anything which can make me worried/ anxious. I have mainly visited 5 major cities 1. Cairo 2. Alexandria 3. Luxor 4. Aswan & 5. Hurghada in 9 days. Cairo is a lively city & I found it very similar to Mumbai. It has a homely atmosphere - please don't compare it with London/ NY. It has its own beauty. Alexandria is the second largest city and a major economic centre in Egypt, extending about 32 km along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Luxor & Aswan are comparatively small in size and population but both are very beautiful cities alongside the Nile River. Hurghada is picture perfect place situated in the coast of Red sea. I’ll not discuss much about the cities as Google can do it much better than me. Rather I’ll share few things which made my trip memorable. It's "LADY EGYPT" tour. Before my visit in Egypt, I have done lots of googling & made my own tailor made itinerary. I shared the itinerary with few of the top tour organisers in Egypt & Lady Egypt quoted the least price. The price quoted by Lady Egypt includes 5 star hotel stay in Cairo & Luxor (including breakfast) & Cairo-Luxor-Cairo airfare where others were not included the same in their itinerary. Also, rating provided in the TripAdvisor site@ Lady Egypt given me enough confidence on them. The most important aspect of this tour organiser is the homely/ lovely behaviour & professional attitude. In their first appearance in the airport, we can't forget the smiling welcome by Mohamed Khalifa, Tour Manager which made all our anxiety disappeared immediately. Whether it's baggage collection or boarding pass collection at airport, hotel check-in/ check-out, all the small thing during the tour, buying anything in the store - they have managed it very professionally & with smile. We have not felt any time that we are out of home. We want to thank Mohamed Khalifa for his special attention to us. We want to thank Shady El Semary for pre-tour assistant. I have written more than 30 mails to him & every time he has replied patiently & shared every bit of information we needed. What a trip of a lifetime to travel to Egypt! My friend and I had a fantastic experience traveling and sightseeing around Egypt because of Lady Egypt Tours! Lady Egypt Tours took care of us immediately from the moment we arrived in Cairo Airport till the moment we left from Cairo Airport 10 days later. Tour Manager Islam Ahmed Gaber greeted and welcomed us to Egypt. He sat down with us and went over our itinerary step by step. The next morning he greeted us along with our guide Hussein Ahmed and driver Ahmet. Hussein is extremely personable and a wealth of knowledge of ancient Egyptian history. We were escorted and driven to every site. Our pictures our amazing. We next went to Aswan from Cairo via sleeper train. Unless you can sleep on a roller coaster, I don't recommend it. We didn't sleep at all during the night so it made for a long day. In Aswan, we were greeted by our guide Hussam Sabry. Hussam is kind and knowledgeable on everything about Aswan and Luxor. It was great to hear the small town perspective. We actually upgraded to fly back to Cairo from Luxor instead of the train which was great. Islam took care of all the details for our flights so we didn't worry at all. Most importantly from this trip, we felt absolutely SAFE. I had several worried people back at home thinking about this trip. I can assure everyone that we felt welcome everywhere we went. Our guides and drivers took care of us the ENTIRE time. I highly recommend Lady Egypt Tours because they are organized, knowledgeable, personable, adaptable and professional. They provided EXCELLENT service! I did not know what to expect when I first I arrived, but I was surprised from the time I arrived at the airport in Cairo.I was traveling by myself. When I first arrived I was pleasantly surprised by Islam who greeted me at the airport with a dozen roses. He made my day with that gesture. He escorted me all the way through immigration and waited with me until I got my bags. He made me feel so comfortable from the beginning. Once we got my bags he escorted me all the way to my hotel. He gave me a brief brake down of what I would be seeing in the next couple of days and what to expect. The driver was great too. Very friendly and a great driver. Once my tour started Hamdy was my guide in Cairo and Alexandria. He was absolutely amazing. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know. I learned a lot of things that I thought I knew. He was always very friendly and knew everything about the history of Egypt. After Cairo I went to Luxor and I caught up with my next travel guide who was Aboudy and let me tell you that this man is absolutely the best tour guide ever. Any issues that I had I would bring it to his attention and he would take care of it. He loves his country and the history behind it. He goes into depth when he talks about the history. He will make sure that you are completely happy and satisfied with the whole trip. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your trip. I can say that Lady Egypt is one of the best toure agencies that I have EVER dealt with. They make sure that the customers are safe and comfortable at all times. The take safety very serious. I never felt unsafe. I was ALWAYS in good hands. I never felt threaten or scared the whole time I was in Egypt. I would recommend Lady Egypt to anybody that would like to go to Egypt and it's history. You have nothing to fear with Lady Egypt. You will always have somebody with you from the start to finish of your trip.

Through sheer luck, we ended up being under patronage of Lady Egypt! My wife and I had booked a package through shoddy Makemytrip India, who seemed to have jeopardized the tour with their careless agents and people with enough of knowledge of how tourist visa to Egypt works. Fortunately, once we landed in Egypt, all those fears were vanquished with Lady Egypt ensuring that we never lacked anything needed and astounding organization. Right from visa on arrival to leaving Cairo, their people were in airports welcoming us and bidding adieu. Big Mo was our guide and he was amazing. He has a degree in Egyptology and of course is very well versed with Egyptian history. It was great to be part of the group ( we were a group of 14 Indians clubbed together) which was shepherded expertly by Big Mo. He is a very well mannered, patient and helpful guide. Lady Egypt deserves a lot of credit and should be publicized more. Class apart.

Lady Egypt provides a fantastic service. We have been on a number of tours, so speak from 15+ years of experience, and found the level of service, knowledge and friendliness of all the staff is exceptional. We decided to take a trip with only about a week notice. The excellent service began with the prompt responses from Nahla during the booking process in getting everything arranged and confirmed. This service continued when Khalifa met us PRIOR to passport control when we landed in Cairo and lasted for the entire trip until he left us as we entered passport control to leave Egypt. In between we were chauffeured around Cairo and Luxor by excellent local drivers and educated by, not just guides, but actual Egyptologists. Their knowledge of the sites is encyclopedic, but their presentation is anything but dry. They were funny, friendly and passionate about sharing the history of their country. Besides the specific tour attractions, they freely gave advice on other places to go and things to do. We will be back and we will use Lady Egypt Tours when we return

Our 5 day Cairo/Luxor trip with Lady Egypt was perfect. Khalifa (Rep) met my husband and I at Cairo airport before visa/passport control and whisked us through in less than 1/2 hour. He facilitated a last minute hot air balloon ride in Luxor which is not to be missed. He was there everyday and helped us customize the days to what worked best for us. All the staff are very friendly and professional: Reps, drivers, tour guides. Ahmed is the best driver in Cairo. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable. Mohammad in Cairo took us to the Pyramids, Saqqara, Egyptian Museum, Old Town, Hanging Church, and a Papyrus Museum. Aboudy in Luxor took us to Karnak temple, Luxor temple, Queen Hepshetsup tomb, Valley of the Kings, Colossus of Memnon, and the Abo El Hassan alabaster factory. We learned so much and had a lot of fun! Taking the train overnight from Cairo to Luxor gives you great views of the country side and the train porters are friendly and efficient. The Reps help carry your luggage into your cabin to make sure you get to the right place on time. If you're over 50 you might want to be prepared with Tylenol because of the hard beds and ear plugs for the train noise. We are thinking of going back to see Luxor again, Aswan, and Abu Simbel.

We travelled from India to Egypt in The first week of May 2016 and the booking was done through Make My Trip. Lady Egypt were the local tour operators. Our travel started with hiccups because of goofups at make my trip side. However on landing at Cairo, the tour representative (Islam or Aslam) was very cooperative and he helped us out in ironing out all issues. He has a charming personality and was always eager to help out and solution the issues. The tour guides assigned to us at Luxor and Aswan (Hussam) was fantabulous and was eager to teach us the whole history in 4 days. Same was the case with our guide at Cairo (Hussain). The 7 day trip inspire of 38 degrees heat, was thoroughly enjoyable primarily because of the guide who maintained our interests. We had opted for a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and the cruise too was good. As Indians we did face problems with food since it was nowhere edible. Being non veg, we somehow managed, but for vegans survival would have been a pain. At Cairo we were put up at Le Meridien. The room I felt was a little below expectations given that is from Le Meridien. The AC wasn't working, bathrooms though clean had a very old look with scratches everywhere. however food was good and given that it was just a 2 night stay it was ok. Lady Egypt took great care in making us feel at home and branding Egypt as a safe tourist destination which it is actually. All tours were completed on time without any hushing up. The meet and greet facilities ensured that we were not stuck at any point in the airport given that some authorities might not know proper English. Overall an excellent trip and would recommend for anyone looking at planning a trip. Definitely avoid make my trip.

The adventure started when our tour guide and the driver picked us up at home in the morning and took us to Sakkara and the Great Pyramids. All details were considered: car with an AC, punctuality and street food, yet what amused me the most was the guide's expertise and knowledge. Lady Egypt does not provide only guides, but very well educated egyptologists with an advanced english level and passion. He was able to deduce when we were hungry or tired, when we needed breaks or extra time at Khan el Khalili bazaar. Very flexible, understanding and an amazing character! When I was looking to travel to Egypt for the first time, I knew not where to ask about a tour operator so I resorted to the internet. I usually travel indepently and have done so to Morocco, Israel, the West Bank and Jordan in the area but I was unfamiliar with Egypt. Anyway, Lady Egypt caught my eye because of their consistently excellent reviews and I must now add mine to the list.. Arrival was quick and smooth, with the company's representative, Islam, holding a sign with our clearly printed names greeting us right at the entrance to the terminal before whisking us to a quick check-in for a good night's rest. Our guides, Mohamed El-Zawahry in Cairo and Ahmed Aboudi in Upper Egypt, were knowledgable Egyptologists with a wonderful sense of humor. No request was too difficult for Lady Egypt to accommodate. When we wanted to add El Alamein to our itinerary the day after we arrived, it was organized spur of the moment and without a hitch. A decision to remain at the Mena House hotel instead of switching to another one for our last few days in Cairo was arranged without penalty despite its abruptness. The itinerary was modified as we went along to make adjustments for traffic and other conditions such as the weather. The 12 days could not have gone more smoothly (Islam discreetly kept daily tab of how we were doing from the home office). The amount of knowledge shared by our guides was so informative that I swear by the time I boarded the plane for home I could among many things trace the many traditions that we have adopted today to their origins in ancient Egypt and that I must have at least a working knowledge of hieroglyphics! Oh and by the way, when Islam heard that while on the Nile cruise we had shown an interest in the Egyptian dessert Om Ali, he presented us each on our return with a tray from Twinky Patisserie in Giza, who after having tried it in different places I have concluded to make the best in town! Lady Egypt it is–without reservations!

Traveled to Egypt booked with Lady Egypt tours from India, was anxious initially if everything would be right, We generally are against the concept of package tours, since we would like to explore the country on our own. But I would advise any one planning Egypt to take a guided package tour, since it will be very difficult to do things on your own in Egypt . Right from a person waiting in front of the Immigration area to dropping us back to Airport Lady Egypt managers and Guides did a great job. They kept up the promise of hotels and cruise. Few of their guides especially Mr Mahmud was fantastic with his knowledge about History of Egypt and patiently answered all our questions. Only trouble in Egypt is that everyone expects a tip- even someone to whom we asked help as to how to reach a particular place on the road asked us for a tip- it was very funny- you have to carry extra amount in Egypt for tips as everyone expects a tip in Egypt. If you are from India, carry lots of snacks, cup noodles etc from India, so you can manage a few times, if you travel in summer sun screen, coolers and cap is a must. Do not take any extra tours other than the one you have organised - since you may be charged way too much for this- better would be to organise them on your own. Last advise- In Egypt bargain bargain and bargain- even upto 10 times the asking price - you may suceed

When we thought of celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday at a different place we decided to go to Egypt because she loves Egyptian mythology. So, we booked the 10 day/9 nights tour via Lady Egypt. Overall the experience was very good. Here were some positive/negative experiences I would like to share. Best things: - Tour lead Khalifa was waiting at the immigration area to receive, helped us to get the Visa and dropped us in the hotel - Tour guide Abudhi in upper Egypt is very knowledgable in egyptology. He explains everything in detail - Hot air baloon ride in Luxor was awesome experience - All the monuments(Karnak,Habu, Luxor, Edfu,Komombo,Philae and Hatshepsut temples, Valley of the kings, Pyramids and Nubian village) were beyond words.. - Sound and light show at Pyramids - Lady Egypt arranged a new tour guide after we reported the misbehavior of the guide Super Mo. - Guide Mohammad from Cairo/Alexandria is a great/ funny guy and very knowledgeable in Egyptian history.
