I could not be more pleased with my experience with Lady Egypt. From the moment I walked off my plane in Cairo I was in the best off hands. We had booked Lady Egypt tour through a local agent in Mumbai. Initially I was very skeptical. But it turned out to be the best experience I have had on vacation. The pickup and drop was very prompt with them not only sending car and driver, but also a representative is with you at all times. All reservations made by them were top notch. The tour guides were with us at every attraction and every step. Special mention to tour guides Mohammed and Mostafa. They had great in-depth knowledge about the places we visited and explained everything to us very nicely and answered all our queries. The representatives at various places Anass, Ramy, Khaled were all very co-operative and were always available to sort out any problems. The only glitch we had was that vegetarian food was little issue. The cruise ship that we booked from Aswan to Luxor was MS Tamr Henna. Lovely rooms. When we complaint to the manager of the cruise to label the food correctly he was unapologetic and rude. My only feedback to Lady Egypt tours if they want to expand business is to take extra attention for vegetarians. I will be definitely recommending everyone Lady Egypt tours if they want to visit Egypt.

Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo I exchanged several emails to tailor-made my trip. I wanted to make sure I would visit all the temples and historical places and the agent was very patient to make the best tour package for me. They even changed my hotels from 4 to 5 stars with a minimum cost and it made a big difference in our experience. The guides were always punctual, kind and helped us with everything we needed or wanted. They are Egyptologists and know everything about the places and also knew how to answer all of my questions about the temples They also booked us some extra tours that were just amazing, like the hot air balloon in Luxor, a Luxor city tour and a visit to a Nubian Village in Aswan. Our guide even took us to a local market to buy spices and condiments. All the mini buses were clean and well maintained. The reps were also very helpful. I´ve been to places like Peru, Tibet, China, Iceland, Rome and so many others, but Egypt was the best trip of my life and Lady Egypt played an important role on this trip. So go to Egypt now!! Is a perfectly safe and BEAUTIFUL country!

My trip with Lady Egypt Travels was absolutely amazing! We had an Egyptologist each day (shout out to the awesome Emad and Ashraf!) and a tour coordinator (like the terrific Khalifa!!) to walk us through each step throughout the tour! Meeting us at the airport, helping us obtain or visas, and giving us all the information we needed throughout our stay. Lady Egypt had no issues with allowing us to add things on or change our itinerary at the drop of a hat without missing a beat. Coming to Egypt was a dream come true for me and I know it was what it was because of Lady Egypt!

Could not have asked for a better experience! Egypt was showcased at its very best by our two guides (Egyptologists) between Cairo and Aswan/Luxor. We had booked our trip via Encounter who made all the hotel reservations, transfers and arranged for our guides from a Lady Egypt Tours. We opted for a private tour and it definitely made ALL the difference. Each part of the trip we were always accompanied by a guide whether it was via Lady Egypt Tours or Encounter Travel which made everything smooth, worryfree and so easy. Lady Egypt Tours. I really felt like we had THE best guides, Emad Hessain during our time in Aswan/Luxor and Mohamed Yesir for the Cairo duration) both of which had been guides for at least 10+ years and qualified Egyptologist. The best part of having personal guides was, at all occasions with both Emad and Mohamed, it felt like you were travelling with a longtime friend or distant cousin, someone who knew the best parts of town and was patient to share their culture, their knowledge and explain the history and significance of landmarks. It was like going on tour with a walking Wikipedia, they were able to answer all my questions (and trust me I had MANY). Having a private guide meant we were flexible with the itinerary and they were able to navigate through the day to optimise the weather and squeeze in a few sites along the way. Oh and most importantly you had you’re very own camera-man - no need to whip out the selfie-stick! We landed quite late in Cairo and were promptly greeted by Encounter representative, “Soul” who would serve as our personal Encounter Rep for the entire trip just after landing. He was welcoming, polite and courteous and explained every detail of what we were to expect on our 8 day trip on our way to the hotel as well as pointing out and naming various landmarks along the way. The next morning, we were greeted bright and early at our hotel lobby by Soul and our Lady Egypt Guide and Egyptologist, Mohamed Yesir, who would be guiding our tour in Cairo both on our first and last day of our trip. Mohamed was great, friendly and quite funny! Our first stop was Pyramids and the Sphinx. Mohamed spent quite some time explaining the history and significance of each location but balanced this with enough free time to take pictures and wonder around. He was able to suggest a few extra activities to get the best photo opportunities like a camel ride near the Panoramic view of the pyramids, all this while making you laugh along the way. We flew to Aswan in the evening which was followed by a 4 day cruise from Aswan through Luxor on the Amwaj Nile Cruise. Our Egyptologist during this time was Emad who would continue with us on this trip. Emad explained what to expect over the next 4 days. We set daily times the previous day and he organised wake up calls. Emad really was a walking encyclopaedia. He knew each place like the back of his hand and you could feel he had immense respect for each of the landmarks. He explained the stories of all the hieroglyphics, the monuments, statues, the period of each building, temple, pylon, what to look for in the tombs (where no guide was allowed), the importance of the various gods, kings and pharaohs and how each contributed and shaped history of Egypt. We spent a magnificent 8 days in Egypt. It’s definitely a trip we will never forget and we have our new friends Soul, Mohamed and Emad to thank. I must say although seeing the great pyramids was on my bucket list I was apprehensive about visiting Egypt because of recent US travel warnings. I booked a tour for my wife and I through Lady Egypt Tours thanks to the company's Operation Manager Reham Sobhy. My apprehension and concerns about our safety were quickly lost once we met our Lady Egypt representative Khlifa at the airport. He was so nice, energetic and helpful. He was quick to help us get our Visa and lay out the 3 day itinerary. He then introduced us to our personal driver for the trip Samir. Samir moved us from place to place with the driving skills of a NASCAR professional. Driving in Cairo was nuts and am not exaggerating his abilities. We sprung for the 5* accommodation of the Marriott Mena House ("sprung" is hardly the word as the prices were really affordable for all accommodations) and it was well worth the extra money. The proximity to the Great Pyramid was ridiculously close, I could have hit a 9-iron to the base of it. The next day and rest of the trip Kalifa turned us over to our personal tour guide Mahmoud, he was the man, such a great person who dropped knowledge on us at every site. He took us to every pyramid, the Sphinx, Egyptian museum, Cairo Citadel, and Bazaar. Every where we went he gave us a history lesson and even took us to his local coffee shop and introduced us to his friends and some locals. Overall , it was one of the best trip of my life and I couldn't have done it with the help of all the people listed above and Lady Egypt Tours. My advise to anyone who wants to visit Egypt but is worried about their safety, don't be... I've felt way more nervous and sketched out in downtown Manhattan than Cairo. If you need extra reassurance, please, please hook up with Reham and the team at Lady Egypt. I know my review might seem over the top a bit but its only because I'm a normal guy, not a paid person or computer fluffing up this company. I truly had a once in a lifetime experience in Egypt and recommend Lady Egypt tours!!!!!

Perfect for solo female travellers who want to see a lot of Egypt in a very limited amount of time. Tour leaders are assigned to you in every city/ location so you can contact them for help with anything in said location. Tour guides were experts in the field of Egyptology. They can read hieroglyphs and are basically human encyclopedias. Lady Egypt team are very warm, friendly and hospitable.

From start to finish, this was a truly wonderful trip. I had never done an organized tour before, but I'm so glad this was the way we ended up seeing Egypt. Our tour coordinator, Khalifa, met us at the airport, got us thru the visa process and customs, and then on the drive from the airport to the hotel, explained what we might expect in Egypt in general, and on the tour specifically. He even got us checked into the hotel. He was very friendly and welcoming! Definitely a good introduction to the friendliness of all the people we ended up meeting. The next day we met Emad, our Egyptologist/tour guide who brought us to the sights around Cairo, including the Pyramids, as well as to Alexandria the next day. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does, and that fuels your interest in the history. From there we headed south, visiting numerous temples and sights between Abu Simbel and Luxor. For this part of the trip, Ashraf was our guide, and he too was wonderful. He has a wealth of knowledge about all of the locations we visited, and helped make the experience all the more amazing. From there we went to Hurghada, where we met Mohamed, who helped get us settled into the resort, as well as accompanied us to the airport when we flew back to Cairo. Overall, everything about the tour was fantastic. The people were great, the hotels we stayed at were all very nice and accommodating, and the tour itself was very well organized, while also giving us the flexibility to make any stops along the way. I can't recommend this company enough! They made us feel so welcomed that it was hard to say goodbye to Egypt when the time came!

Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo I cannot say enough about how wonderful Lady Egypt Tours was. From start to finish this company cares about giving its clients a tremendous experience. We a group of 21 American women travelled to Egypt with Zen Atlas (Wash DC based group adventure travel organizer). Our US based guides hired Lady Egypt Tours to customize our tour of 8 days. From start to finish, everything was executed to perfection. Khalifa graciously met us at the airport and the following day we met Waleed, who was our Egyptologist and guided us through Cairo and our Nile Cruise tour of various temples throughout Aswan and Luxor. To call Waleed a guide is an understatement. He called us ladies “Family”, and he was really like a big brother to us all. Waleed’s knowlege of the sites and the ancient mythology and history of Egypt blew me away. We learned that he has a PhD in Egyptology, which again highlights the HIGH CALIBER of folks that work at Lady Egypt. I loved everything about our tour. There are SO many things we did including seeing the great pyramids at Giza, the sphinx, the step pyramids, and a number of temples and tombs including the Valley of the King and Queens. The balloon ride over Luxor was also a special experience where we really got to appreciate the landscape. Listing everything we did is simply too many. But everything was done with flawless execution and utmost security. People worry that Egypt is dangerous. Is it??? Potentially, but as American women in a less open society there are additional precautions that are necessary. Waleed hired extra security and made sure that the group remained together, and everyone was accounted for at all times. As a result, I never felt unsafe. Accommodation wise we stayed “five” star. I’d say the Meriden close to Giza was more 4 stars (with a minus) but convenient and the Kempinski on the Nile was very nice. Our Nile cruiseboat - the Esmeralda had lovely rooms and facilities. Where I got a little tired of things at times was the constant buffets and the general lack of diversity in food. On our final night we got to meet Sarah and Rami (spelling?), the owners of Lady Egypt. They are lovely people and you can tell their business is a labor of love and they truly care that their guests have a trip of a lifetime. 10 stars for Lady Egypt and a special shoutout for Waleed.

Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo I can't say enough how amazing this adventure was. Egypt was never really high on my radar for travel. But once I recieceved the itenerary I began to get more excited than nervous. I thought, how are they going to do all these amazing things in such a tight time frame? Lady Egpyt delivered! From the time I arrived at the Cairo airport they were there. They helped nget through border security and assisted with any luggage. Transported us to our hotel through the bustling city of Cairo and made sure we had all we needed. The tour was epic, life changing and emotional. From old Cairo city markets, the great pyramids, River Nile cruise, magnificent temples, biblical churches and the list continues. The energy you feel in these sites is beyond words. Feelings I've never felt in my entire life. None of these beautiful places or emotions would come alive if it wasn't for Waleed. To call him a guide is an understatement. He's the smartest, most patient (21 females on this trip, haha), understanding and thoughtful person. The information he was able to give us for the sites was jaw dropping and made me really think and ask questions. He did all he could to make sure we were SAFE as his top priority. He just made IT happen. To making sure we were fed, comfortable and happy. I can keep going on how amazing this trip was but just know it's the most memorable. A visit to Egypt was a dream of mine since I was a child. Now that I’m back home I can say this trip was way beyond my expectations and what I had ever envisioned. Lady Egypt planned our trip and every day I was amazed about the organization and details. We couldn’t have had a more wonderful guide as Waleed. He is passionate while sharing his wealth of knowledge at all the sites. He answered all of our questions, while also throwing in his own theories along the way. Waleed was with us every moment and also made sure all of our needs were met (we were a group of 21 women so not an easy task). From making sure we were always safe, to always having water, snacks etc., during our daily busy schedule, and when we became weary from our busy schedule Waleed knew when we needed a break! He called us family and treated us just as that. We begin in Cairo; Giza, flew to Aswan and got on a Nile cruise to explore all the sites for fours days, ending in Luxor, and then back to Cairo exploring an ancient Coptic Church, a visit to a mosque and lastly the Egyptian Museum. It was truly an amazing trip. No detail forgotten and all transfers, transportation, etc., always on time. The question of safety, it was always a priority, we had escorts along with our guide Waleed. We are already talking about returning because it was such an epic trip. Just know when you plan to visit Egypt use Lady Egypt and Waleed and you will be sure and have a trip of a lifetime.

Visiting Egypt was an extraordinary opportunity to explore more than 4,000 years of history, architecture, and culture while surrounded the by natural beauty of the Nile. Lady Egypt planned every step of the journey from walking off of the jetway at arrival to walking to the gate on departure. I went with my friends as part of a college group from 28th October to 3rd November. The trip was well planned, with all the hotels conveniently located close to the places to visit. Our tour guide, Mahmoud Salem, made all the stories and legends so interesting and captivating! He had a really unique style of explaining and made everything come alive. I would definitely recommend this to others. My only suggestion would be to carry some dry food with you as in the plan we had, there were only provisions for 3 meals. Other snacks were not included, so it might be better to carry your own.

By far the most amazing travel agency we have booked with and we have traveled to 16 countries thus far. We were treated like pharaohs! Everything was first class. The travel agents customized our private tour to meet our timeline. Annis was so helpful throughout the vacation making everything so easy for us. Emad and Hussam were such amazing tour guides. They have so much knowledge of the country and history. They made every experience an incredible one! We had private transportation with safe drivers and attendants. The entire vacation was very well planned out. We did not have to do anything at all during our vacation but show up! We highly recommend this travel agency and tours. We are definitely going to go back and use them again. Also, Egypt is soo beautiful! It is now in our top 5 countries! We always felt safe and never had any issues. We left a piece of our hearts in Egypt!

For the 2nd year Lady Egypt Tours makes our vacation unforgettable. The representative that I was working with was beyond patient when I requested information on 10+ different hotels and asked 101 questions. She arranged all transportation needed before I even asked. We had a tour guide with us each time we moved from one place to the other. They literally did everything while had us seated with a cold refreshing drink in our hands. When I had an annoying situation at one of the hotel I called my representative and she took care of it. Even the tour guide who picked us up from Hurghada Airport was very helpful. We relaxed and were transported to our hotel by a private air conditioned vehicle. Day 2 Overnight in Cairo. After breakfast we started our tour in Giza with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefran, and Mykerinus, followed by a visit to the Sphinx. In the afternoon we will see the pharaonic treasures at the Egyptian Museum, including the incredible Tutankhamen collection. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Day 3 In the morning we checked out of your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor we were greeted by an Egypt Guided Tours representative who will assist and transport you by private air conditioned vehicle to your 5 star Nile cruise ship. After check in on the cruise ship enjoy lunch on board followed by a tour of the impressive Karnak and Luxor temples. Dinner and overnight on the cruise ship. We did the "optional tour" of Abu Simbel and we saw our first ever Mirage in the dessert. Optional tours to the temples of Abu Simbel. On the drive you may be lucky enough to experience a mirage in the desert. On arrival at Abu Simbel you will see Lake Nasser (the biggest man-made lake in the world) and the two temples that are carved into the rocks. For those not joining this optional tour, you can relax on the cruise ship

My friend and I had booked a tour with Lady Egypt tours - 2 days in Cairo, a day trip to Alexandria and 2 days in Luxor, along with our scuba diving in the Red Sea. The reception, tour itinerary, guiding and hospitality were professional, personal and warm. They tried to make every small request possible and are a wonderful organisation to tour with, in Egypt. We faced no issue of a lack of safety while touring. Inspite of the language barrier, the people are welcoming and warm. In particular, the main tour guide Mohammed Khalifa was very accommodating, friendly and dependable.

Amazing tour company. This was my first travel experience outside of the US and they made everything so easy, and they made sure that I had a good time every day. The guide (you get a personal guide, not a group guide) went out of his way to give me a great experience. He was always willing to help in any way he could, and he even negotiated good prices for my souvenirs. I never had to worry about finding a ride because they always provide a car and driver (traffic is much different than in America so you need a local who knows how to drive in Egypt). Great customer service over all. They also allow you to customize the itinerary for every day. I got to add a day to visit some sites not included in the original itinerary. They also offered me a few hotel options in Cairo, but I requested one in Giza instead and they were happy to accommodate. And compared to other companies I looked for, this company had the best prices. I would highly recommend them. You will always be taken care of.

Sorry this review is late but I absolutely loved my family trip with Lady Egypt tours. My plane was delayed and they still met me at the airport to meet up with the rest of my family. I highly recommend Lady Egypt Tours. My daughter wanted to spend her 30th birthday in an amazing place. She decided on Egypt. We didn't know the language or the customs and wanted to make the most of the time. She picked Lady Egypt Tours because of their amazing reviews and they exceed their reputation! We had a 10-day private tour for 4 of us – me, my daughter and my sister-in-law and her daughter. Lady Egypt took care of everything! From the minute we landed they were there- starting with helping us get our suitcases from the carousel. Everything was planned out according to my daughters’ requests of what she wanted to do and see. She had 2 special request – a ride on a hot air balloon and sand boarding (sand surfing). They made it happen. Kalifa coordinated the tour, the guides, transportation and met us at the airport. From the moment we met him we were made to feel like princesses. He filed us in on what to expect on our schedule, taught us a few Arabic words and a little about their culture. He kept in contact withy us throw-out the trip to make sure everything was going as planned and that we were happy. He even helped my daughter track down lost sneakers she left behind in a hotel. We had 3 tour guides specializing in the cities which we were touring in. They knew their cities and the history like the back of their hands. We bypassed most lines and went in directly to the attractions. Our guide in Cairo was Emad. He had extensive knowledge of Giza, the pyramids and Cairo. From Cairo we went on a Nile cruse with our guide Ashraf who was also very knowledgeable of Aswan and the surrounding cities we toured. He went out of his way by going to several pharmacies in order to get an asthma inhaler for my daughter (She had an asthma attack on the way to the market and her inhaler ran out). Mohamed was our guide in Hurghada which is famous for water activities. My daughter wanted to try snorkeling (but none of us know how to swim). Mohamed was very supportive of us and patient. He paired us up with and experienced diver who stayed with just us. Mohamed also got us a great driver, Ahmed for the Safari in the desert who had many little surprises for us which made the trip in the desert so much fun. The guides, drivers and supporting staff were all friendly. We immediately made a connection with the guides. It felt like we were with family. They were very passionate in their presentations of the information. They were all good photographers and patient with us. We took LOTS of pictures! They gave us ample time. We never felt rushed. They knew all the good spots for pictures and took pictures for us. Many times, it was as if we had a private photographer with us. All of Lady Egypt Tours staff was excellent. Before boking the trip, my daughter was in contact with them through email. She had lots of questions and requests. They were more than willing to help her plan the perfect trip. Kalifa, Emad, Ashraf and Mohamed really made our vacation a memorable experience. All the little things they did such as helping us order food, watching out for us in the markets to taking pictures for us really made a difference. At the last minute, Kalifa set us up with a car, driver and guide so we could go to the market in Cairo to get a few things the evening before we left. Lady Egypt Tours gave us the trip of a life time. We enjoyed every minute of it. They were very accomodating and we felt safe and secure at all times. I recommend them to everyone. I plan to use them again in the future for a Holy Land tour (God willing).

The guides, drivers and supporting staff were all friendly. We immediately made a connection with the guides. It felt like we were with family. They were very passionate in their presentations of the information. They were all good photographers and patient with us. We took LOTS of pictures! They gave us ample time. We never felt rushed. They knew all the good spots for pictures and took pictures for us. Many times, it was as if we had a private photographer with us. All of Lady Egypt Tours staff was excellent. Khalifa, Emad, Ashraf and Mohamed really made our vacation a memorable experience. All the little things they did such as helping us order food, watching out for us in the markets to taking pictures for us really made a difference. At the last minute, Khalifa set us up with a car, driver and guide so we could go to the market in Cairo to get a few things the evening before we left. Ahmed took us around the for a few hours and then to the airport the next day. Lady Egypt Tours gave us the trip of a life time. We enjoyed every minute of it. They were very accomodating and we felt safe and secure at all times. I was very sad to leave, and wished the trip was much longer. I hope to go back in the future. These people became my family. Hopefully I can be their tour guide one day in new York. I recommend them to everyone. I plan to use them again in the future for a Holy Land tour (God willing).

We were looking to do a tour of Egypt along with a visit to Istanbul and Jordan. When I couldn’t put together the timing for a tour with Intrepid, G Adventures etc I looked for a different source. I found tours by Lady Egypt through Trip Advisor and contacted them about an eight day tour that included a Nile cruise. When the timing didn’t quite fit they let us do a private tour. Arriving late at Cairo airport we were thrilled to see a representative waiting for us. He rushed us through the visa requirements and quickly had us at our hotel with an upgrade. Throughout our entire tour we were handed off to one tour guide or representative who got us on and off trains and never failed us once. The guides were all amazing and had an extensive knowledge of Egypt. Special kudos to Mahmoud who is an Egyptologist and just an all around amazing person. Our driver in Cairo, Awd, was a wizard guiding us through the insane traffic. Every one of the staff members was fantastic. So why not the perfect experience? Firstly is the whole nightmare of tipping. Unlike Jordan, the tips are not included and are so crazy that we continually had to go to the bank machine for more money. Why not just include them in the price and we could give more if we wanted to? Second was the day we left. We agreed on a six o’clock pickup but no one arrived. Repeated calls to the reps number went to voice mail. Just when we were about to call an Uber we found out that another rep had been sitting beside us for half an hour. Why didn’t our rep either answer his phone or let that rep know he was late? We never did find out the answer as our rep was like a rabbit who had had way to much coffee and ran us through the airport then left. All in all the company was great but addressing these few issues would make them perfect!
