If you’re lucky enough to arrive at Cairo Airport, and Walid Ali meets you, you know very quickly that you are in the best of hands. Walid is sales manager at Lady Egypt Tours in Cairo. He handles a host of issues that could go wrong, but never do, at least not when he’s in charge. This amazingly dedicated and competent man whisks you through airport procedures, guides you to an awaiting car and driver, and offers invaluable information during the drive to the hotel. Every time you see Walid from hereon, he’s got a phone in his ear, organizing, managing, instructing on behalf of his guests. This man owns his job. He makes everything come out right. The only thing he can’t do is lessen the traffic on Cairo’s busy streets, and I think one day he’ll figure that out, too! We booked Egypt holidays assuming that it will be bit bumpy but to our surprise this was most memorable holiday we has till date. All credit go to Mr Anas and his team of Leady Egypt holidays. The entire tour from Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and Alexandria was outstanding because of well organisation, well co-ordination of Lady Egypt. Mr. Anas, manager from Lady Egypt was with us in everything we needed from arrival till our departure. He helped us with Visa on arrival, currency exchange and well-co-ordinated our tour so that we never felt unattended. Our tour guide, Ahmed and Mustafa were brilliant. Both were patiently answering our questions especially about the Egyptian history. Both are well educated, well mannered, supportive and helpful. Every day was well planned so trip was not hectic but relaxing and Cruise experience was great. Food was amazing Overall, Egyptians are welcoming and have lot of respect for tourist. We found that Egypt very safe and secured. Being in the desert, be prepare for dust and harsh sun.

From the moment Islam met us at the Cairo airport we knew we were going to have the trip of a lifetime. Every day we had a great English speaking guide and our own driver in a great car with ac. 5 days in Cairo, 1 day in Alexandria, flights to Aswan, a custom trip to Abu Simbel, 4 day Nile cruise with tours of temples, Nubian village and a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings.... Then we ended with 5 nights on the Red Sea at an all inclusive fabulous resort. We felt totally safe, and as Americans we also were very welcomed! Nahla worked with us for over 4 months while we figured out exactly what we wanted. She was phenomenal! Loved Lady Egypt, and their customized itinerary was 1/3 the price of any American tour company. Now is the time to visit, we had no lines or crowds anywhere!

From the very first email everything was excellent. So I want to start by thanking Nahla for making the booking process smooth and stress free! We had a tailor made itinerary with the Cruise Adventure and also added on Abu Simbel and the day-trip to Alexandria. 11 days 10 nights and it was quite the excursion! Once we landed at Cairo airport, Waleed our tour manager was right there greeting us with a sign. He quickly got us through baggage and customs without and issues to our own personal driver of a nice rental car. On our way to the hotel, he provided us with very helpful information and history about the different areas on our way to the hotel. All throughout the trip he ensured we were pleased and encountered no issues. Even the issue with our hotel we managed to get rectified even beyond what we expected. He also provides you with a local phone to contact him during your trip should any questions or problems arise when you aren't with him. The tour guides; (Cairo) Ayman and Luxor - Aswan (Ashraf) were AWESOME! They were easy going, fun and extremely knowledgeable. I was blown away at how much history I had bestowed upon me between the two of them. They really know their stuff! They also made sure we weren't taken advantage of when it came to tipping the people selling stuff (who can be a bit aggressive). The Cruise - OMG amazing!!!! In addition to my first trip to Egypt this was also my first cruise. The ship was gorgeous! the rooms were quality and cozy without feeling cramped. You have a full window view of the Nile river as you cruise along. The staff was super friendly! Housekeeping made fun animals out of our towels each morning. The buffet meals were excellent! I had like 4 different style of rice dishes while there. They had different things every night. Great variety! Tip: Bring bug repellant for mosquitos, because you never feel them, but you definitely discover where they've been! Despite what's being reported in Western media and what common thought is. Egypt felt completely safe. I was never once worried if I was in a sketchy area or felt like I needed to watch my back. Even pick pocketing, I was never worried. If you travel smart (in general) that shouldn't be a concern. Be prepared for that traffic tho! That mess is brutal when its rush hour, but our driver Awad was excellent. He drove like Jason Statham in that movie The Transporter. He was not messing around when it came to getting us to our destinations. I loved it. Kudos to him big time! If you've ever wanted to visit Egypt I would definitely recommend booking your trip through Lady Egypt Tours. For this being my first trip abroad, it was completely stress free and a blast! We were a little concerned prior to travelling to Egypt but all our concerns were unfounded. We felt completely safe at all times. Lady Egypt is a fabulous company. They do a very good job of looking after their customers. Their service began by meeting us at the Cairo Airport at 2:00AM. They got use through all the airport stuff in record time and assisted us in checking into our hotel. A representative from Lady Egypt met us at other airports as we toured around Egypt. We did the 4 night boat cruise and out guide was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and a nice person. I do not hesitate in recommending Lady Egypt for all your tour requirement.

It was a fantastic trip to Egypt on 21/10/2017. The Lady Egypt Tour had done everything possible to make it one of the most enjoyable tour for us. I still miss their warm and kind hospitality. Mr. Anas, the main tour manager was so helping that he was with us till we had crossed the immigration desks. I have yet to see such a loving and warm person in this industry. So was the case with both of our guides: Mr. Mohammed at Cairo and Mr. Ahmed Ansary during our Luxor and Aswan trip. Both of them were thorough gentlemen and very much helping. They possessed the precise knowledge and were able to understand the key ideas behind all ancient festivals and happenings. I really enjoyed my trip. I do recommend this tour to everyone.

Co-owner Sarah Nicola oversaw every bit of our planning for almost a year, and everything that was supposed to happen did happen just as promised. Our accommodations were fabulous. Intra-Egypt flights were fine. Safety was never an issue. Egyptian people are welcoming and helpful. Special praise goes out to our tour guide, Islam Gaber. When our Nile cruise had to detour because of low water, he stayed up all night making alternate arrangements. So did our Egyptologist, Sherif Hassan. Someone told us he was one of the top ten guides in the country, and we think he’s probably number one. He translated Hieroglyphics, not an easy task as there are 5000 symbols. He told stories with theatrical panache and excellent English. And the sights! Inside and outside the Great Pyramid of Cheops. A wonderful Lawrence of Arabia-esque camel ride. Temples that defy explanation as to how they were built. We are already recommending Lady Egypt Tours to anyone who will listen!

Pro: 1. Tour representative meet up before Cairo Airport immigrations upon arrival was really helpful especially for those who visited the country first time 2. Tour guide at Cairo and Alexandria (same person) was knowledgeable and patient Con: 1. Esmeralda Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor: the food and cabin were average. The worst things were the ship bang another ship, then few hours later the ship was stuck at shallow river bed. Just wonder it doesn’t happen to other ships, perhaps inexperience captain. 2. Tour guide at Aswan, Nile Cruise and Luxor (same person) tend to be impatient. Overall Lady Egypt still deserve 4 star rating as incident happen on cruise in beyond their control. Perhaps they shall engage other cruise in future.

Had a great first day climbing the Great Pyramids, riding camel and watching the night light show. We were met by Islam with a bouquet of flowers.We visited Valley of the Kings, Edfu Temple,Abu Simbel, Nubian Village, Philae Temple, Luxor Temple, Kom ombo Temple and crocodile museum, Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Saladin, etc...Great trip, very reasonably priced. Lady Egypt Tours is a class act outfit. I recommend it highly.

Our tour manager, Eslam, met us at the airport and made us feel very welcome and safe. At every change in transportation, we were met by Eslam or another Lady Egypt representative which made our travelling hassle-free (literally). Egyptologists, Safwat took us through Cairo, the Pyramids and Alexandria, while Mahmoud took us through Abu Simbel, Aswan, Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Abydos & Dendera. Although we started with the Horus by Train tour, after some pre-trip requests, we were able to customise the tour by adding visits to Saqqara & Dashour, Abydos & Dendera and Deir El-Medina. These were our highlights, so do not miss these lesser visited sights! The tour ending up becoming a private tour, which meant we enjoyed some flexibility with our itinerary based on Safwat and Mahmoud's recommendations as we went. Overall, we were very happy with our tour and the ability to individualise it with minimal fuss, sets Lady Egypt above the pack of other tour groups.

Where do I even begin to describe the magic, mystery, wonder, awe and magnificence that is Egypt! It is mostly due to Lady Egypt tours. The best organization of our 9 days tour, amazing staff to make sure we were safe and happy all the time. Waleed the Egyptologist is phenomenal, Mahmoud his assistant from the office was always a calming reassuring but very quiet presence, Anis a wonderful point of contact who was very welcoming at the airport and hotel. My girl friend and i took a week long tour with Lady Egypt and it was amazing! the tour guide paid above and beyond what was needed (little tips for the bathroom and bought us ice cream when it was boiling hot!). he was there for us every step of the way. during free time, he went to dinner with us and took us wherever we wanted. i felt totally safe as a single 24 year old woman in egypt. the hotels all had security where you needed to put your bag through security and also would walk through a metal detector. especially since our tour guide was amazing and was always there if we had any questions. he made sure he always would be able to access him. he made sure to leave his phone number and room number at the reception desk. this tour was amazing- would recommend to anyone!

We have spent the last week in Egypt, touring the wonderful sites. Lady Egypt tours looked after us from the moment we stepped off the plane right to the moment we left the country. We were met and helped through the entry process and escorted to our hotel for the night. Escorted back to the airport given a cell phone "just in case" , we didn't need it. Though they did call to check that everything was satisfactory, it always was. Once again in Luxor we were met at the airport, gathered our belongings and headed off to the hotel and river cruise the following day all escorted. Our guide traveled with us and looked after every detail. Our guide's love for his work made the trip so much fun. We never had any language issues, as our guide was always available and so very helpful. We had a great time and enjoyed every moment. It was very hot so it's wise to alaways carry water and as with many places some small coins for the use of toilets.

Our trip to Egypt will always remain a memorable one. One of the key aspects of an organized tour to a foreign country is you get lot of questions, depending on needs of all the members involved in it. Planning itinerary is also a very difficult task, what we include what we exclude, whether it is doable, not doable etc. Lady Egypt Tour, assisted us the best way it can, in designing it based on need, answering 100s of questions we had, and even with assisting us on visa through some agent in India (their services were also superb). Coming to the execution of the plans, we got airport services at Cairo (we had a connection to Aswan), where their representatove met us inside the Airport and assisted us with mobile connection, foreign exchange and immigration. We went to Aswan and we found another representative right there at baggage belt. As we started our travel, we realized that our tour guide Mohamed was having a vast knowledge and as we already went there with bit of prework, it became an added advantage. About our guide we don't have any word to describe his efficiency. He was super energetic, maintained his time, had answers to all questions, and so friendly that he also entertained the kids in the group. He modified the itinerary and showed us the Luxor temple in the evening, and trust me, it was beautiful. He also stretched himself to accompany us to a market which was not even in the list. There was a train journey overnight and he made sure that we had time to relax before it. At all hotels they had their representatives ensuring rooms were ready for us. Everything was super efficient and zero mistakes. Last day, they assisted us till we boarded the flight from Cairo. In the end, I wish I can have similar kind of operators for my upcoming trips. Thanks all of you, Ms. Nahla, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Khalid, and Mohamed. I must say, we felt a deep sense of respect to all of you, and we thoroughly enjoyed your company. Keep it up.

Don't be afraid to visit this amazing country. Our guide was amazing and with fewer than normal tourists, it is a great time to visit Egypt. Our guides made all the difference. They made it so simple and hassle free. I can't say enough about the great service we had.

My husband and I just returned from a trip of a lifetime from Egypt. I requested quotes from a few travel agencies and Lady Egypt was very responsive and their prices were competitive. I decided to do a custom tour and worked with Nahla Gaber to finalize my itinerary. We visited Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor. Nahla is amazing!!! I had sooo many questions but she was very patient in assisting me with planning the perfect itinerary. Her recommendations were spot on and she put a lot of our fears at ease. We received a warm welcome from Khalifa when we arrived at the airport in Cairo. He had a sign with our names and greeted us as if he had met us before. He took care of our visas and accompanied us to baggage claim. Our checked bags didn't make it to baggage claim in Cairo. We found out that the airline sent our bags to Aswan and we could pick them up there in 2 days. We were a little sad about not having our checked bags but Khalifa managed to cheer us up. Khalifa rode with us to the Le Meredian hotel in Cairo and you can tell he is very passionate about Egypt. Our day got sweeter when Khalifa told us that Lady Egypt had upgraded our room to a pyramids view. The view was spectacular and such a nice welcome surprise especially after not having our checked bags. Islam was our tour leader for the trip and we met him the next morning after breakfast. He provided copies of our itinerary and a paper with handy key words. He spent time reviewing the itinerary with us and answering any questions we had. Be careful of the hustlers. He is very articulate and detail oriented. After talking to him, we knew we were in great hands and wouldn't have to worry about anything. After our briefing with Islam, our Cairo tour guide, Ahmed Khamouna, took us to the Pyramids , Sphinx and Cairo Museum. Ahmed is an Egyptologist and he was amazing! We learned so much about the Pyramids, Pharaohs and other Egyptian history. Seeing the Pyramids in person was definitely the highlight of the trip. Ahmed knew the best places to take photos and took many photos of us without us even having to ask. We have some really good photos because of him and we shared them with our friends before we returned home. Ahmed spent the whole day with us. We truly appreciate him taking the time to ensure we shopped at authentic places. If you need a tour guide for Cairo, Ahmed is the man. Hussam Sabry was our guide at Abu Simbel, Aswan and Luxor. Lady Egypt upgraded us to the Movenpick hotel in Aswan. I highly recommend this hotel (I'll do a separate review later). Hussam is very passionate about Egyptian history and it shows in the way he talks. I easily picked up that he was a teacher. He's very good and captures the attention from everyone when he talks. One thing I really liked about Lady Egypt is that our tour guides are from the areas they are assigned to. Abu Simbel is a must see. I thought I knew quite a bit about Abu Simbel but Hussam provided many more details. Hussam was also our tour guide at the Philae temple, Karnak Temple, and Luxor East and West Bank. All in all, Lady Egypt outdid themselves. We felt very safe at the hotels they selected: Le Meredian in Cairo; Steigenberger in Luxor; and Movenpick in Aswan. All transportation arrangements from airport, hotel, and tour pickups were seamless. We had to hit the road sometimes as early as 4am to get to our destination on time but everyone was always on time. Islam even gave us a cell phone on our last day in Cairo before going to Aswan. He told us to call him at anytime and even though everything went smoothly, it was great knowing that he was only a phone call away just in case anything went wrong. Islam is an extraordinary tour leader! We've told all of our friends about our great experience in Egypt. It was exciting to see the Egyptians celebrate their World Cup qualifying win. Everyone at Lady Egypt is very professional and tourist safety is a high priority for them. We added a hot air balloon ride at the last minute and it was so worth it. There are so many more places we wish to visit in Egypt and we hope to be back soon. Thank you Lady Egypt for making this trip a memorable wedding anniversary for us! Tips Drink lots of water during your tours to prevent becoming dehydrated. Decide on how much you'll tip in advance to make it easier and also so you don't forget anyone. I wish I had a tipping guide earlier so I could have tips ready ahead of time. Change your money to the local currency and get smaller denominations. Quite a few places didn't have smaller bills. Prepare to eat some of the best food you've ever had. Portion sizes are really big here and the locals enjoy you trying their cuisine. Travel with your own wash rags as only one hotel provided them. One hotel provided them after they saw ours lol. Come with an open mind. Egyptians are very proud of their country and history and they are eager to share their way of life with the tourists.

They took care of everything we needed. Our oldest got motion sickness and the tour guide Sharif was flexible and helped us buy medicine. He had a great sense of humor and taught us about Egyptian modern day culture as well as Ancient Egypt. Our travel coordinator Khalifa was very accommodating and made our trip extremely comfortable. I would not recommend taking the train from Cairo...Sally and Khalifa warned us about it, but we booked it anyway. They were right; it is worth the extra money for the flight. Our kids loved the cruise (the pool was a bit cold...but they dealt with it) and the camels. Cheers!

I would have brought him home with us if we could! He took care of our every need, getting medicine, changing start times, and going with us on the Train! (Sorry Sharif! The train was our idea, most people would not like the train.) He gave us insight to ancient Egypt and modern Egypt and we saw so many temples, pyramids, mosques, churches and markets. Khalifa coordinated our tour and made sure of our arrival and departures and kept in contact with Sharif all along the way. There wasn't anything that Khalifa didn't know about our group and our activities. I highly recommend this tour group for any travel in Egypt. Many of the locals tend to be friendlier seeing that tourists are with an Egyptian tour guide. We never waited in line or waited for our transportation, Sharif would call ahead and people were there to help with transport, luggage, carriage rides, etc. This made for more time to see the sites, less time waiting. Our van driver in Cairo was Omar. He was the best! His driving puts NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. to shame! He was calm and very safe, it was amazing to see how he navigated through Cairo traffic! We also loved the Esmeralda Cruise line. The rooms were wonderful and the food was outstanding! The staff on the ship made extra effort for the children's comfort, they got Banana smoothies almost everyday! Thanks to Lady Egypt, Sally, Omar, Sharif & Khalifa! We did see the sites that we had been waiting to see our whole lives! Thank you! Hoping to be able to visit again.

We used Lady Egypt for a fourteen night private tour through Egypt. The company was so easy to deal with. First we spent time going back and forth arranging our trip with Nahla. She was so patient with our many questions and adjustments. After a long flight we were met at the airport by Islam. He helped us get our visas and make our way through customs. We were treated like royalty. Our trip went that way the whole way through. We had private guides and drivers for the three of us. Our guide Hani was so knowledgeable in Cairo and Alexandria. In Aswan and Luxor we had Saadoon who was also really knowledgeable and helpful. Mohammed who looked after us in Hurghada was also wonderful. They tailored our days for our interests. We never felt rushed. We enjoyed every day. The hotels and the Nile Ship that Lady Egypt booked on our behalf were all really nice. If there were any problems we could tell our city rep, our guide or Islam. When ever we did express any type of concern it was handled very quickly. I would recommend Lady Egypt to anyone. The price was very reasonable and we were well looked after wherever we went. Our country has issued a travel advisory for Egypt but I always felt very safe. I know that their tourism numbers are down. If you can visit Egypt soon.
