Today is your first day to be amazed at the sights Egypt holds in store for you. Our first stop will be the 3 Pyramids of Giza. We shall then take a ride toward the repository of the richest hold of Pharaonic treasures there is on this earth. You will take in the most brilliant jewels, artifacts and funerary decorations you have ever seen. It is just dazzling. And then of course there are the mummies, oh what fun. The evening is yours. Should you wish for any tips on how to spend it and where to go, our representative will be very happy to advise. Overnight in Cairo hotel. (Breakfast)
Sabah el kheir. After breakfast, our agent will come by to pick you up and take you to the airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Once there, we will visit the Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser, then catch a small boat to get to the island of Agilkia to visit the Temple of Philae. Take a look at the rock formation around you. It is astounding. We will then go on to your hotel to check you in. Overnight in Aswan hotel. (Breakfast)
Good morning. Enjoy your breakfast before checking out of the hotel. A new day, a new adventure. It’s on to the magnificent and otherworldly temple of Abu Simbel. In an airconditioned vehicle, we will make our way by road (3 hour trip one way) to the temple. Commemorating Ramses II and his victory at the battle of Kadesh, the temples are a miracle of engineering as twice a year, the inner sanctuary receives the sunbeams that light up three of the 4 sculptures. This incredible, hard to believe feat will keep the God of Darkness Ptah in obscurity. Back in Aswan, you will board your 5 star cruise ship. The rest of the day is yours. As an option, you might want to enjoy the spectacular Sound and Light Show at the Philae temple. Overnight on board. (All meals included)
Today will take us to two other temples. We shall be sailing towards Kom Ombo and there we will visit the temple, shared by two deities, Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris the sun god. We will partake of lunch on board as we sail to Edfu for a visit of its temple. Later on we shall be sailing on to Luxor throughout the night. Dinner on board. Cruise party tonight!!! Overnight on board. (All meals included)
Good morning. Today we are in for an early start in order to avoid the sultry hot sun of noontime. After an early breakfast, you will head out to the West bank, taking in the ghostly Valley of the Kings, filled with the spirits of the Pharaohs of days gone by. It is a truly weird experience. Just absorb the atmosphere as you walk along and go into some of the tombs. You will proceed to Deir el Bahari and walk down the colonnaded avenue of Queen Hatshepsut’s temple. Then walk along and feel tiny next to the towering Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be on board the cruise ship and then the afternoon is yours. Relax and take in some more of the city of Luxor or as an option, we can arrange a hot-air balloon ride for you if you wish. From up above, you will have an indescribable view of the whole city, looking down upon its vastness and pondering on its story. The evening is free. Dinner will be on board. Overnight on board cruise ship. (All meals included)
Sabal el kheir. After breakfast, we will go on to take in the temple complex of Karnak, rich in temples, chapels, pylons and other buildings. It is truly vast. Then we visit the Luxor temple. After you are finished, you will transfer to Hurghada, or Ghardaqa in the local language. A most interesting ride that will get you to one of our most renowned resort towns on the Red Sea, home to scuba diving par excellence if you lean that way. So we check you in to your hotel upon arrival and leave you to enjoy the rest of the day. Remember our agents are just nearby to make all your wishes come true. Consult with them to your hearts content about all the little things that will make you even happier than you already are. Overnight at your Hurghada hotel. (Breakfast and dinner)
This day is yours. How would you like to spend it? Diving, snorkeling, taking a glass-bottomed boat out to spy on the coral reefs? You name it, we can arrange it. This afternoon, we will pick you up to take you on to a special Bedouin dinner. We start off by taking a 4x4 safari ride to the Bedouin camp, then proceed in climbing on camels to go for a short ride to to watch the sunset and have a BBQ dinner Bedouin style. Overnight in Hurghada hotel. (Breakfast and dinner)
Sabah el kheir. You are going back to Cairo this morning. After breakfast we will accompany you to the airport where you will board a flight back to Cairo. There once checked in, the rest of the day/evening is yours unless you choose one of optional city tours: Cairo city tour which includes Coptic and Islamic Cairo or the Khan el Khalili Bazaar if you haven’t seen it yet. Check them out and others on our list. Overnight at Cairo hotel. (Breakfast)
Oh wow. This huge Oasis is merely two hours away from the city and hides its beauty so well, you would never suspect it holds such wonder when you are approaching it. Fayoum is enormously rich archeological sites from different eras, has a history in pottery making and is blessed with plenty of natural treasures. First, we shall enjoy a visit to the ancient ruin of the city of Karanis, known also as Kom Aushim dating back to Greco-Roman times. Then its on to the Water Wheels ( said to number 200) dating back to the Ptolemaic era and take in Lake Qarun or Birket Qarun in Arabic, Moeris in Greek is considered the oldest natural lake in the world. It is a salt water latke having been a freshwater later in prehistory. Is that not amazing? And so we go on now to Qasr Qaroun, where the ancient town of Dionysias was located and the Temple of Stone still stands. We shall then go on to survey Wadi el Rayan in the western desert, a unique nature protectorate, with its fresh water lakes and stunning dunes made for skidding in a 4x4. We will finish off the tour with a visit to Tunis village, home to the very well known potters of Fayoum. Back to Cairo for the night. Overnight in Cairo hotel. (Lunch en route)
Optional: Sand boarding/Dinner in the village of Tunis
This is goodbye. Make sure your Fayoum pottery is packed in bubbles, you have all your souvenirs put away and your memories intact in your pocket. Review of: 8-Night Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Explorer Tour from Cairo
From the planning with Nahla, to when we were handed our boarding passes when we left Cairo to head home, we were treated as If we were the only customer they had. It is difficult to pick out just one guide or representative that we dealt with, because they all had the same attitude, make this trip unforgettable for these people. From their extensive knowledge of their guides, to their extensive network of people on the ground, and their unfailing coordination in all aspects of this trip, it was second to none. We felt completely safe and comfortable at all times and would definitely recommend Lady Egypt for any once, or twice, in a lifetime experience . The Egyptian weather was pleasant, low 80's in April, and the Egyptian people were very pleasant.
Don't let being nervous prevent you from experiencing the Land of The Pharaohs, It is awesome!
For the 2nd year Lady Egypt Tours makes our vacation unforgettable. The representative that I was working with was beyond patient when I requested information on 10+ different hotels and asked 101 questions. She arranged all transportation needed before I even asked. We had a tour guide with us each time we moved from one place to the other. They literally did everything while had us seated with a cold refreshing drink in our hands. When I had an annoying situation at one of the hotel I called my representative and she took care of it. Even the tour guide who picked us up from Hurghada Airport was very helpful. Talked to us about all the important highlights on the way to the hotel and was always there whenever we needed anything. Lady Egypt Tours made everything as easy as a click of a button.
Thank you Lady Egypt and Thank you to each and everyone who took the extra step to make this UNFORGETTABLE.
My husband and I spent 11 days and 10 nights touring the wonderful cities and sights of Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada for our honeymoon.
From start to finish, our experience with Lady Egypt was seamless. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our trip enjoyable. Our tour leader, Khalifa, and each of our tour guides (Mohammed, Mahmoud, and Shareef) were all exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and warm. At the end of each tour, we felt as if they were our good friends! I also want to acknowledge Nahla in the Sales Department for crafting the perfect itinerary for us and assisting us through each step of the booking process.
Visiting Egypt was a lifelong dream of ours, and we are so thrilled to be able to now say that we've checked it off our bucket list! Some of the highlights of the trip included watching the sunrise from a hot air balloon ride over Luxor, snorkeling in the Red Sea, and stunning views of temples, tombs, and pyramids.
I truly can't say enough good things about Lady Egypt Tours. We loved every minute of our time here and cannot wait to return to this beautiful country again one day! Thank you SO MUCH for making our honeymoon an incredible and memorable one. ❤️
When I was looking to travel to Egypt for the first time, I knew not where to ask about a tour operator so I resorted to the internet. I usually travel indepently and have done so to Morocco, Israel, the West Bank and Jordan in the area but I was unfamiliar with Egypt. Anyway, Lady Egypt caught my eye because of their consistently excellent reviews and I must now add mine to the list..
Arrival was quick and smooth, with the company's representative, Islam, holding a sign with our clearly printed names greeting us right at the entrance to the terminal before whisking us to a quick check-in for a good night's rest. Our guides, Mohamed El-Zawahry in Cairo and Ahmed Aboudi in Upper Egypt, were knowledgable Egyptologists with a wonderful sense of humor. No request was too difficult for Lady Egypt to accommodate. When we wanted to add El Alamein to our itinerary the day after we arrived, it was organized spur of the moment and without a hitch. A decision to remain at the Mena House hotel instead of switching to another one for our last few days in Cairo was arranged without penalty despite its abruptness. The itinerary was modified as we went along to make adjustments for traffic and other conditions such as the weather. The 12 days could not have gone more smoothly (Islam discreetly kept daily tab of how we were doing from the home office). The amount of knowledge shared by our guides was so informative that I swear by the time I boarded the plane for home I could among many things trace the many traditions that we have adopted today to their origins in ancient Egypt and that I must have at least a working knowledge of hieroglyphics!
Oh and by the way, when Islam heard that while on the Nile cruise we had shown an interest in the Egyptian dessert Om Ali, he presented us each on our return with a tray from Twinky Patisserie in Giza, who after having tried it in different places I have concluded to make the best in town!
