Get ready to be awed at the Egyptian Museum with its abundant treasures that are absolutely fascinating. We will move on to the Giza Plateau and contemplate the Great Pyramid and its smaller companions. Khufu is the lone survivor of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Right after breakfast, you will take a flight to Luxor where our agent will meet you and check you in at your hotel. The afternoon will be yours to enjoy. To get a whiff of local life, why don’t you take a stroll along the main street of the souk or market of Luxor and go on a lively, multifaceted and aromatic journey. It has everything under the sun, well almost and is a bubbly place to spend an afternoon in. The Mummification Museum is a different cup of tea, of course, but revealing nonetheless. However, if you just want to relax, go for a sail onboard a felucca and just let the soothing movement the Nile waters sway you into slumber. And all this in anticipation of an evening walk in the Luxor temple which is magically illuminated at night. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

First stop is Valley of the Kings, the repository of the remains of all these Pharaohs you have been reading about. It is a fabulous place, full of a sense of not just grandeur but mystery, as if the after-life these kings were seeking permeates the air. 15 of the 64 tombs are open to the public and we will take you to the most favoured ones of Tutankhamun, Ramses 1, Thutmose III and Seti II.. On our way to the Karnak Temple complex we will pass by the village where the workers, masons and builders lived called Deir el Madina and its temple of Madinet Habu dedicated to Ramses III. You will also not be able to miss seeing the Colossi of Memnon, proud and glorious as they are, representing Amenhotep III.

It’s the Karnak Temple complex which is truly a huge spread encompassing temples and obelisks, chapels and pillars, as it brings to life the many pharaohs who contributed in adding to its profusion of buildings. After this tour, we will offer you the option of a hot-air balloon fly-over for a bird’s-eye-view of the city. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)

We will pick you up after breakfast and go on to Hurghada. Driving through the hills and desert toward the Red Sea with its serene wide-scaped horizons, its inviting warm waters and compelling brass colored sands. After check-in, take your time deciding how you would like to spend the rest of your day.  Don’t forget, the next three days are yours, all yours to fill with new, varied, exciting memories. Salamat! You shall bid the sea and the sand beaches goodbye this morning as we will pick you up and put you on your flight back to Al Qahira, Cairo the city where all your adventures started from. And where they will all end on the morrow. Wait a minute! How about a last fling with the Nile? Why don’t you let us book you a dinner/dance Nile cruise and party the night away? Or how about the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids? Say a fond farewell to that mind-boggling structure that has left millions of people just like you and me mouths wide open in reverence.
