This morning will take you to look and wonder at the stupendous achievement by the ancient Egyptians. The Pyramids sit upon the Giza plateau looking over the city and the desert. Tonight you will board the sleeper train to Aswan which is the heart of the Nubian desert. Overnight on sleeper train to Aswan. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Sabah el kheir! Good morning and welcome to Aswan. On our schedule today is taking in the Aswan High Dam, Lake Nasser and taking a short boat ride across to the island of Agilkia to behold the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Board your Nile cruise and set sail to Kom Ombo. Dinner will be on board as we lay anchor in Kom Ombo for the night. Overnight on board. (All meals included)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we head out to visit the Greco Roman Temple of Kom Ombo shared by Sobek, the crocodile god and Haroeris, the Sun God. Back on board to continue sailing toward Edfu, the best preserved and second largest temple in Egypt. Enjoy your dinner while sailing towards Luxor. Overnight on board. (All meals included)

Good morning! Enjoy your breakfast as we cruise along the Nile. We will dock at Luxor and go on to explore the wondrous and most mesmerizing valley of them all, the Valley of the Kings, resting place of so many Pharaohs. The colossi of Memnon is also on the agenda, the humongous statues of Ramses are just daunting. Back on board the afternoon is yours to fill. Overnight on board. (All meals included)

Have a good breakfast before we check-out of the boat. We will then proceed to visit the Karnak temple complex with it’s myriad of temples, churches and columns and then on to the Luxor temple. Relax, amble along and breath in the electric atmosphere in these godly places. At the end of the day you will catch the sleeper train for the return trip to Cairo. Overnight on sleeper train. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Ahlan wa sahlan fi al Qahira. We will take you to the Egyptian Museum, accompanied by our certified Egyptologist. You will go around and take in the small wonders that the Pharaohs left behind, be it their jewels, their artifacts, their furniture, their carriages, their mummified animals and of course their very own mummified bodies destined for the after-life. This afternoon, you may opt for any of our optional tours such as the half-day tour of Khan el Khalili bazaar, our very own age-old oriental souk or a tour of Cairo’s Churches and Synagogues by taking our Coptic Cairo tour. The evening will also be yours, so how about a belly-dancing show or a Twirling Derwishes show? Overnight in Cairo hotel. (Breakfast)
