The Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Our agent will pick you up at your Luxor hotel and convey you to the West Bank. Once you enter the Valley of the Kings you might be overwhelmed with a feeling of ghostly spirits flitting around you. These are the ghosts of Pharaohs gone past. This site is full of tombs of those mighty rulers of Egypt. 69 tombs are scattered about, of which 15 are open to the public. Tutankhamun, whose mortuary treasures you have seen or will see in Cairo is one amongst them. It is thrilling. We will be visiting 3 tombs which is what our tickets allow. Once done, we take you to the Valley of the Queens, where walking down the colonnaded walk of Queen Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple will make you feel regal and proud. Note that she was the first female Pharaoh to rule Egypt and she sat on her throne for 20 years.
Once done we shall return you to your hotel in Luxor.
