West and East banks of Luxor.
Feel the air around you, it is imbued with the ghosts of times gone by. It is a unique experience as you feel the breeze on your back and imagine a caress from the past. Let yourself feel the history of this place. We shall visit some of the open tombs and then we go on to the Valley of the Queens and walk down the colonnaded avenue of Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple. A grand regal feeling overtakes you as you learn of the divine birth of the first female Pharaoh to ever rule Egypt. We will pass by the Colossi of Memnon, massive twin statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After lunch, we shall go back to the East Bank and take in the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast area of temples, chapels, pillars and pylons all dedicated to the God Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Our last stop will be the Luxor Temple.
