Karnak Temple Complex, Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsutmany
Good morning! Your chauffeur and tour guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the Luxor, the greatest open-air museum in the world. It is just awesome. Our first stop will be the Karnak Temple Complex with its vast array of temples, chapels and pillars. Walk around and immerse yourself in this amazing template of monuments to past Pharaohs, gods and goddesses. Then we shall visit the Colossi of Memnon, those great big statues dedicated to Amenhotep III and feel very very insignificant. Afterwards, we head out to the West bank, taking in the ghostly Valley of the Kings filled with the spirits of the Pharaohs of days gone by. It is a truly weird experience. Just absorb the atmosphere as you walk along and go into some of the tombs. You will proceed to Deir el Bahari and walk down the colonnaded avenue of Queen Hatshepsut’s temple, feeling very regal and very grand.
