Your magical day starts in the morning where you will be picked up at your hotel. Our guide will drive you to Giza to visit the greatest of all Egyptian sites and probably the one reason that gets people to visit Egypt: The Great Pyramid. It is known as Khufu or Cheops and is the largest of the 3 and quite intimidating to stand in front of it and gaze at its immensity. It is the unique survivor of the 7 Wonder of the Ancient World and has thus acquired an extra special status in the history of human achievements. If time allows, you may enter the 2nd pyramid.(Optional)
After the Pyramids, we will head towards the largest treasure trove of all, the Egyptian Museum, holder and keeper of more than 250,000 antiquities from the Pharaonic era. We will break off our tour for lunch at fine local restaurant where you will savor tasty Egyptian cuisine. Afterwards, we will go on to experience an otherworldly adventure the like of Ali Baba’s cavern of oriental treasures in the streets of Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Surrounded by the attar of hand-crafted perfumes, handicrafts of multicolored fabrics, brass lamps and silver bangles, you will go on a fairy tale voyage. Stock up then on souvenirs and photographs at will. You won’t see anything like it elsewhere. Then we will take you back to your hotel.
