Hello and welcome. Our representative will pick you from either your hotel in Aswan or from aboard your cruise boat. A pier away and your felucca awaits you to take you around picturesque Elephantine island. Exercise your imagination and take in those huge pebble like stones in the middle of the river and imagine them as animals, birds or just grotesque creatures. They are wonderful means to play games of the imagination. The Aswan Dam and the Nilometer that used to measure rain fall in the past are part of our tour. Take a close look at the Nubian houses dotting the banks. Our stop shall be the Botanical Gardens or el Nabatat in Arabic on Kitchener’s Island . Let your eyes feast on the rare exotic flora that the island has safeguarded ever since the British army officer of the same name started his collection of exotic plants. After our exercursion to the island we shall sail you back to the pier and drop you off at your pick up point.
